"Great selection of Mexican products in general. The selection of Mexican sweet bread is incredible, I wish I had a place like this near my home."

"Great local grocery options especially fpr those seeking any ingredients specifically for Spanish foods. Great service and the selection of meats and produce is vast. I love the outside grill they have offering indivual servings or package options for the family or a group. Big parking lot which is easy to access. ATM and cach checking counter. Beer and liquor available as well as traditional cooking utensils and pots and pans. They have a bakery inside. Bathroom available and handicap accessible and handicap friendly."

"Have never had a bad experience, until today. We were in Des Moines yesterday and stopped to buy some items, spent close to $100. We purchased pan dulce, the next day I was having coffee and a pan when I was about to take another piece I noticed something on top of it, taking a closer look, it seemed to be some type of metal fiber. Once I picked it off, sure enough, it was small thin metal strips, looks like it could be from a steel wool sponge. We called, asked to speak with a manager, he was not in. The lady said we can leave a message, we explained what we found, she said she will let them know to be more careful.... didn't ask for our name or phone number and hung up before we could say anything else. I see this is not the first time they have this issue with the metal, found a review from 11 months ago, bigger longer piece. Be careful when eating items from there."

"I'm so glad that my friend introduced me to this grocery store! It's been difficult to find good quality ingredients to remake some of my favorite Latin dishes. I'm from the East Coast where we have a very large Hispanic population so I reiterate what someone else said about the products being more expensive here, but it's better than nothing! They have a grab and go section, a made-to-order section, bakery, meat counter, produce area all fitted with everything you could need for a proper Latin American meal. Luckily, there are some employees that speak English. My Spanish-speaking skills are limited."
