"Will never shop another Bomgaars again, my son purchased an item and realized after paying for it that the price was not what he had thought , price labels are messed up on shelves, so before even leaving the counter we said no to this item asked for his money back , he paid cash, was told no that he would have to accept store credit, because items was over $ 100.00, mind you we had not paid but a whole minute before was told it would short the register and the cashier didn't have enough cash in drawer, so either you accept store credit or wait a week for a check to come in the mail. What a joke, have other friends with same issue, keep it up Bomgaars, we will go back to Tractor Supply,"

"Pet products are pretty pricey. You can get them cheaper elsewhere. They do have a good selection of hardware though (bolts, nuts, fasteners, etc...). The staff is always friendly and helpful."

"A complete waste of time. I went to the store to find my son what he wanted for Christmas, a 60 volt Dewalt grinder/cutting tool kit which happened to be listed in their ad. I went in and went to the tool section to try and find it but had no luck. I went to find an employee, showed the ad and asked the price. The price was in line with my expectation so I told him I wanted one. He told me someone would meet and I heard him call over the loud speaker for assistance in power tools. 20 minutes and 3 employees walking past saying or doing nothing, I sat down on the bags of dog food when a lady finally asked me if I needed help. 15 minutes later it was obvious they didn't have the sale item and according to her never did or were going to have it. I asked if another had it and 15 minutes later I was told Glenwood store had it which is 80 miles away. I declined and left the store thoroughly irritated because this is not an isolated incident. I have went to buy things at listed prices only to be told that isn't the item or it isn't the price yet that was how it was displayed on the shelf inside a locked case. I have spent close to 3000.00 dollars there at that store in the last 12 months yet I have been treated on most occasions as an inconvenience. My second time leaving angry would have been my last but they are they only store short of Des Moines, Omaha or Kansas City to have a decent display of 60 volt Flex tools. There is a happy ending (for me) to this tale. I went into Tractor Supply right down the street for something else and discovered they are starting to carry them as well. My son's present will be in store in two weeks and its 10.00 less as their sale price is cheaper. Tractor Supply will get first dibs on my Dewalt and or other related purchases. The professionalism and quality customer service makes me EAGER to spend money there for the things I need or want. I don't regret the things I bought at Bomgaars, I regret the things I bought IN Bomgaars. I will repeat my tale often and encourage as many as I can to take their needs to a business that appreciates it and isn't inconvenienced by it."
