"I had a great experience!! Affordable and great quality. The girl who scheduled my appointment was so friendly and quick to get me scheduled. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff who offered me a beverage. Andrea colored my hair and did an amazing job! She was fixing a botched hair color that I had gotten somewhere else and it looks amazing now! To top off the amazing service, she even walked over to The Walnut and grabbed food for me while the bleach was setting. I will come back for sure!"

"I don’t normally write reviews, but this time I felt like it could not just be ignored. I came for a haircut 5/24. The stylist that I was with was a level 2 stylist. I went to this salon because I wanted to try a different product line, and a place a bit closer to home for me. I wanted to love this cut, but when I got home and took a closer at it, it was nothing like we had talked about, and honestly a complete disaster. I will start with the positives: I loved how the treatment we did at the bowl made my hair feel. My stylist was really friendly, and fun to chat with. She was super knowledgeable and helpful when talking about treatments and products for my hair. Negatives: This haircut was by far the worst haircut I’ve ever had. It was not a complicated cut. I told my stylist I wanted collarbone length, light layers, I usually part on my left side, and sometimes move it slightly off center. She cut my hair from the center for the entire cut. Main length was uneven. The back was at least an inch longer than the front, and VERY noticeable, and looked awful. I specifically asked for point cutting, because I didn’t want it to look jagged and blunt (like it ended up looking anyway). The layers made absolutely no sense. There were spots where the layers were insanely uneven, like she hadn’t even cut them. I showed my stylist where I wanted the shortest spot to be on my face-framing. Again, I part my hair primarily on the left, and she cut it at the center. Instead of a side swept face framing, I ended up with a middle part, botched layers, and choppy uneven curtain-like bangs. I spent over $100 for a cut, treatment, and a product I bought at this salon. I had to pay for an entire new haircut this morning with my regular stylist (that is further away) to attempt to fix the massacre that was this haircut, because I was not going to go back in to the same person/place who destroyed it in the first place."

"Started going to Oliver+James after seeing their work on Instagram. Very affordable and professional stylists who are constantly reeducating and staying on top of the trends. Personally I would recommend Chloe but I feel like you can’t go wrong with anyone on staff! Always a welcoming atmosphere."
