"Have only been here twice, I don’t get my nails done often but the most recent experience was awful. I had about 5 different pictures for inspo, and would have been happy with anything close to them, but I was told they couldn’t do that. It was a pearly/sheer white combo I had wanted. Ended up going with a French manicure because I hadn’t prepared for a backup option. She rushed to get them done as fast as possible, they are wonky and uneven and have bubbles and chips. I think there’s a hair stuck in one of them. She got nail polish on my hands as well and didn’t clean it off. At one point she messed up, said “whoops” out loud, and then never went back and fixed the mistake. At the end she left and went to her next appointment and mumbled something about my nails being dry? I sat around for a bit confused if I was done or not and eventually just left. Nails weren’t dry apparently because they chipped more. Never going back here. Got these done for engagement pictures so I’m very upset. As of 1 day later, they have all chipped. I am not hard on my hands either. Absolutely ridiculous for the price. I will never be back here."

"I had gotten my nails done today at another salon and they did a horrid job. I called stilleto and they were super friendly and able to fit me in. The salon was super clean, very cute, and everyone there was super friendly. Leo was the nail artist who did my nails and he did an absolutely incredible job. I haven't been getting my nails done since moving to Iowa because I wasn't sure I could trust a place to do my nails but I would 500000% recommend this place."

"After going to several salons in the Des Moines area, I finally found one that I love. Le did my nails, and I love what he did. He was gentle, with no nicks or cuts, and my fingers didn't hurt when I left. He could tell the last place did a bad job and fixed all the problems. The salon was clean as well as the bathrooms. My only complaint is the chairs that, in my opinion, are made more for children than grown adults with big butts...lol I was moved to a different chair, but still not the most comfortable. I will totally go back to this one."

"Usually this place is amazing! Today it was horrible the shape I asked for was ROUND I ended up with a skinny almond. There was paint in places there shouldn't be and none where there was supposed to be. The Manger refused to fix them and charged me full price."
