"I had Lzaza delivered via Grubhub so I can’t rate service or atmosphere but the food??? Yum!! I ordered my favorite, Lamb Biryani, butter naan and tried something new, chicken korma with paneer. Oh my wow! Everything tastes so incredibly delicious and the spices are fantastic while not being too spicy hot. Portions were really big as well so prices fair in my opinion. I've ordered Indian food other places and they were great too but this really makes me want to go in and pay a visit for sure! I’ll definitely indulge again!!"

"This is a all around great place!! Got everything ready and these folks hit the ground running!!! Good natured family. I haven't tried the food yet, but I have looked at the menu and oh my goodness talk about some great food on the menu. I mean when you walk up to the place you can already smell the food cooking. When you get in this establishment it is like the smell and will leave your mouth watering. You'll wanna go sit down and order the food when you just went in for a pack of smokes and a soda!!! Just saying..."

"Des Moines has had its share of Indian restaurants with great food and terrible atmosphere in the past, but none have taken it to quite the extreme Lzaza does. Food is very good, service is fine, but the atmosphere is almost comically bad now. The front 3/4 of the building is currently empty, with nothing but barren shelves and a lunch buffet stand. Diners are walked to the back of the room, around a small partition, into a sparsely decorated room with 7-8 tables. There are no place settings, there is no music, and the only thing helping to break the silence is a small TV playing a loop of drone videos of Cancun, Dubai, and Singapore. Food is very good, though no less expensive ($14-$19 for entrees) than its warmer, more decorated competitors (Kathmandu, India Star, etc). Lzaza has no liquor or beer or the menu but do allow BYOB, which is nice to hear. Unless you have a taste for eating in Spartan quarters with zero atmosphere, I’d recommend using Lzaza for carry-out only."

"it was my first time trying authentic indian/pakistani food and i was absolutely mind blown the food is so amazing, meat was perfectly cooked and everything was just so so good!! the customer service is amazing and the waitresses were very sweet and attentive. left feeling content and happy with this experience. i hope i can come here more often, this place is unique and delicious with a comfy, easy-on-the-eyes lighting. (i tried the beef curry it was PERFECT but i didn’t get a picture) the vegetarian samosas were cooked to perfection, they were crispy and packed with flavor. i definitely recommend this place, it deserves so much more recognition."

"This place is right on the corner of 23rd st. Parking lot is small so might have to park on the street. They do lunch buffet and there are variety of food. Buffet cost about 14 dollar a person. The food were very good and wait staff were accommodating and friendly. Just keep in mind this is a buffet style restaurant and don’t be afraid to get the wait staff attention. I love this local eat place and will be back."
