"I first learned of this place from the Gazette in their Thursday Hoopla section. The description alone tempted me into a try; freshly baked bread, savory meat, and fresh, crisp vegetables. Plus, I’ve never had a Banh Mi before. Until today. The restaurant was fairly small but very clean and well lit. A mural describes what their specialty is like. Some soft music played in the background which made the place more appealing. The cashier was very friendly, helping explain some of the various drinks available and the specifications on sugar levels. I ordered the Banh Mi Dac Biet (ham, head cheese, pork roll, and pork belly) - and Hokkaido Milk Tea. I had intended to get the tea at half sugar but it came with the full amount instead. Regardless, the tea was nice and comforting. Very creamy with a hint of coconut (though it was hard to tell). The real star of the lunch was the Banh Mi. They weren’t kidding when they had freshly baked bread. It was just like the mural described; light and crusty on the outside and airy on the inside. The meat was tender and savory and the vegetables looked fresh and had an excellent crunch. The vegetables come mixed in a separate bag (likely to preserve freshness and allow the customers to add what they want). The mix included pickled Daikon (an Asian radish), carrots, jalapeños, cucumbers, and cilantro. I added everything to get the full experience (even though I’m not a fan of cilantro). Since this is a sandwich shop, it’s a good idea to have a few napkins on hand since stuff can drop out when eating. A fair warning, the cheapest drinks are about $6.00 each. And the sandwiches are around $9.00 though they are fairly large. It might be pricey but the quality of the food was excellent. Definitely worth another visit."

"I found this little shop on a foodie post. I stopped in at lunch time on a Tuesday. The lady was amazing and explained the different food and drinks when I asked. I got the pork belly bahn mi with a peach iced tea with peach boba. It has real pieces of peach in the drink. The sandwich was excellent and I would definitely recommend going here if you like bahn mis as they have a nice selection as well as tons of drinks to choose from."

"1) Their homemade bread is deliciously flaky and fresh, perfectly balanced with the veggies and choices. I really like their home made sauce - I want to try their soup and bread dish, too 2) After sharing that it was our first time in, they explained the menu options and what was recommended- I got the #3 pork belly and #17 Vietnamese coffee. Sandwich toppings were separate so I could add-on (good if folks are new to Banh mi and want to customize toppings), and the fresh pickled veggies balanced the bread and meat perfectly. The Vietnamese coffee was deliciously strong. 3) atmosphere was open, clean, quiet, and relaxing on a Sunday afternoon - it seems like a great lunch pickup option during the week. I'm so glad I came, and look forward to trying more of the menu."

"The fresh taste, the smell of the baked-daily bread, and most of all the friendly service transported me back to our days living and working in Vietnam. Oddly, this place tastes like home. So authentic and delicious that we will definitely be back (regularly)."
