"Love the pool"
"This is a message to all you parents that get married or remarried and buy season passes for your children with a different last name. You will be asked to submit proof of residency after you purchase their season pass and then their pass will be suspended until you do. Also if your child has a ethnic last name like my daughter, they assume she’s your summer nanny. It gets better, they will get upset with you even though you’re the one they profiled and offered! The lady I talked to then said I get that people have kids when their 14, I was super confused by this and she tried saying my birth year was down as 91’. I looked at my receipt and my correct age is on it so not sure why she was making that part up. The only reason I didn’t cancel is because I don’t want to ruin my kids summer all because some lady makes assumptions about people she doesn’t know. If parks and recreations wants to see the lovely email showing this I will be happy to send it to them. Edit: I had reached out to Nick Lenox and was given the same answer and no, you don’t verify everyone’s residency. I reached out to friends that also purchased the pool pass and their kids between 16-18 weren’t called into question or asked if they were their summer nanny."
