The Prime Rib

"Was very excited to come here. Was... 6pm Saturday night place was full of people. Was seated for 2 immediately. The server was very friendly and talkative. The drinks were average. The place is dated but is comfortable. The prime rib was ordered medium rare and served medium well. They forgot the Au-jus sauce on the side cup and poured it over top. My order was the broiled walleye with jalopeno corn. Fish was served tepid along with both of our sides. I would rank the fish experience as one of the worst. It had many bones and a fish scale, which was a first. I had mentioned it to the server, who said it was a new supplier, and it was shrugged off. In the end, I will not make an effort to go back."

"I used to come here and my meal was top notch. This visit was not a good visit to brag about. Service was great. The gal that helped us did everything to make us feel welcomed and brought are order in a respectable time. Now the part that didn't set well. My wife ordered the prime rib sandwich and it was over 50% fat. Now I realize that prime rib needs fat to give it taste but 50% or more. Not much meat that's for sure. I decided to order a hamburger. Times have changed and I realize that the restaurants margins have gotten tighter but paying extra for your toppings. I could understand bacon as an example but pickles, onions. REALLY. Anyway I give it the way things went down. They were busy and we were set down pretty quick. Just not a very good visit this time."

"I have ate her numerous times it has been awesome. This time steak was the worse steak I have ever had and the waitress acted like oh well said I ask you if it was cooked correct I said It was but I need a chainsaw to cut it. She said she will tell the cook and I also the bread was cold and hard she said ok. Horrible service. Brought me my check. Last time I will ever eat here. Nice response from owner. Talking to the waitress and telling them it was not good is apparently was not what I was suppose to do.Normally when you tell the waitress the food is horrible she tells the management."

"I really like the food here we had a excellent waitress... Very nice and peaceful restaurant... I feel it was cozy and love the decorated Christmas trees... The prices are not bad..."

"Would've been more stars but the chicken breast had hard burnt like crust on the underside. Spouse had a good prime rib, however, still claiming Longhorn has the best. Lastly, someone named Mark who rang us up and out was not friendly or thankful for our business. Not right when you pay $73 for chicken breast and a slice of prime rib. Waitress was very nice."
