"Did drive up, service was good and timely"

"Went in around 12:30 on a Sunday. Tried to order 2 blizzards but they didn’t have the ingredients I guess. So we skipped the ice cream and ordered food and drinks. The fountain machine drip tray was overflowing onto the floor and when we got our food, I was missing part of my order and her food was cold. The people were polite but otherwise it was an unpleasant experience."

"Visited this Dairy queen to meet someone and visit. Ordered a hot fudge sundae and it arrived with no nuts or whipped cream and I thought, oh well and let it pass. Before leaving I used the restroom. It was so grungy that after washing my hands, I was used sanitizer. Ice cream was good and the service, but I have no desire to go back."

"Stopped by the drive thru for a quick lunch today and ordered a root beer freeze and a burger. The boy working the window said “a root beer float?” I said “no, a freeze… or maybe you call it a whip here. It’s like a float, just blended.” I got my order, the gal that was helping the kid at the window went over what I wanted and was helpful and polite. I got back on the road and took a drink of this ice cream catastrophe that had a mild root beer flavor… if it wasn’t littered with ice chunks and crunchy. I had to choose between chewing my drink or letting the ice melt with each drink until it diluted the ice cream. So I called and said “Hey, the kid who made my freeze did it wrong because my freeze is full of ice chips. The same helpful gal from before told me that I was wrong… that’s how you make it. I assured her that is how the Misty Freeze is made… but I just wanted a simple root beer freeze and I even told the kid taking my order how to make it. She agreed to make me a new one and I returned their first attempt. When I got to the window… the gal leaned out with a root beer shake and said “I made you a new one but you will have to order a root beer shake in the future. I asked my manager and we always make root beer freezes with ice.” I didn’t want a root beer shake… shakes are made with milk, ice cream, and syrup. I seriously did not anticipate it being so difficult to get a blended root beer drink. Anywhere. Ever. I told the gal that I wasn’t worried about it because I just would not stop here anymore. She threw her hands up at me and said “whatever!” and walked away making comments about how my business would not be a loss. I’m sure it is not. But my review should help direct people who are hoping for a half way decent experience for their patronage. Dairy Queen… you guys have been blending root beer and ice cream together for decades. Your Cherokee folks need a refresher course… and a few tips on customer service would be a benefit too."

"Stopped in last night after a bad experience a few months ago. First complaint, no soap in the restroom. Just gross. There wasn't even an empty container. If I had seen this before ordering I would have just left. We had been on the road for hours and just wanted a quick me. Waited 20 minutes for two chicken strip baskets while we watched employees stand around the front doing nothing. Got our order with no sauce for the chicken and I wasn't going back. I have been patient with places and low staffing, etc. but getting tired of horrible service and rising prices. I won't be back here, ever."
