"We ride here on bikes that we rent from Andersons. The trail is paved and easy to follow. Watch out for the e-bikes that are NOT supposed to use these trails. There is also a dirt bike trail alternate that makes a nice loop ride to the dam. Since we go here in the fall, it's not very crowded. I'm sure it gets busy in the summer."

"The fact that we turned up out of the blue, when the campsite was supposedly full, but they let us use a host site that was vacant means I would have given 5 stars regardless of the experience. Friendly staff and all the amenities you'd expect. Short walk to Fallen Leaf Lake too which is a great, quiet place to relax if you're needing some peace and quiet"

"One of our favorites. Clean restrooms hot showers using $1.00 tokens. Sites are large and far apart. Fantastic bike path from campground all the way to South Lake Tahoe n Nevada. Visitor center just down the road. Fallen leaf lake inside campground so we are able to take kayak out calm clear lake. Trails n off road biking available too. No reception however but hey, we’re camping not scrolling !!!!"
