"While visiting Lake Tahoe we visited Glen Alpine Falls. The falls is approximately 65 to 70 ft tall and located at 6560 ft above sea level. The road to Glen Alpine Falls is one way and under developed. So it takes a lot of time to reach Glen Alpine falls since you have to wait at various points for the cars driving other way. After reaching the falls we were stopped a lot ago due the gravel road. So we hiked to the falls. But we didn't get any parking, so we had to park on the road. So you can imagine in an one way road two car is moving and you are parking your car on the roadside, how difficult that is. I don't know why the road condition is that bad here where this magnificent falls is standing! When we reached to the falls, it was its full brim and roaring with its cascading water fall. I was at the end of the falls. You can also hike to the upper level of the falls. In summary, Glen Alpine Falls is a natural marvel, but the road conditions and parking challenges marred the journey. If infrastructure improves, it could enhance the overall visitor experience."

"Glen Alpine Falls are a beautiful terraced waterfall right near Fallen Leaf Lake. There is a paved single lane road that goes up to and pass the falls and they are easily accessible. Beautiful in the Spring and Summer at peak flow."

"These falls are located at fallen leaf lake. Once you get to the campground you have to not go to the day use area. :) Go all the way past the store and the marina. The road is around 2 miles. You'll wonder if your going the right way. Just keep going. Very narrow road and parking is hectic. We didn't have to pay a fee. The Falls are literally right there. No major hiking involved so people don't usually stay that long. We were there for about 20 mins. They say the best time to visit is may or June, we went in August and there was still quite a bit of water and we could easily clime around on the rocks. It was worth the parking hassle"

"What a stunning waterfall! Not only was it conveniently located near the road, but it was also perfect for little ones. Although the road was a bit narrow, it provided us with breathtaking views of the lake as we made our way to the falls. It's an absolute must-do that will leave you thoroughly impressed. Parking is limited, recommend you arrive before 10am to get good parking near the falls."
