"Was really excited to try this restaurant. I was very disappointed in the service an quality of the pasta, chicken, an "grilled veggies". The wings an appetizer sampler were good as well as the pizza but the pasta was not good at all. The veggies were frozen mix veggies an the chicken was either canned or frozen diced chicken."

However, just learned on Sundays they run a special, large single topping pizza for $12. That’s a deal. If you haven’t already tried it, not sure what you’re waiting for. Best pizza in Des Moines!!! Conveniently located on 14th and plenty of parking."

"First time here. Absolutely fantastic pizza, got the all meat version. Crust is fantastic, meats are spicy and plentiful, sauce is incredibly good. Overall has a nice kick, no pepper flakes necessary. At just under $24, the price is great for what you're getting, too. Had the onion rings and bruschetta for appetizers. The large onion rings could be a meal in itself, and they were awesome. Great balance between breading and onion, served nice and hot. Chicken cavatelli was delicious. But the bruschetta is the best I've ever had. You'll need an extra plate so you don't lose any of the delicious toppings, like the soft mozzarella pieces, and the balsamic drizzle is just like extra putting chocolate syrup on an already-overloaded ice cream sundae."
