"I DO NOT recommend using these tax preparers. They were pleasant to meet with, but did not seem to have their business in order or be fully up to date on the latest tax laws and requirements (specifically regarding new requirements related to Obamacare). We also received a letter from the state of Iowa informing us our return was incorrect and the amount of refund was less than what the preparer had calculated for us. I've heard that one tax preparer has since left the company and her accounts were not handed over to another preparer for follow-up or resolution. As a result, I have colleagues who never had their return filed and weren't notified until the IRS reached out for the $500 penalty fee. Total Financial Solutions removed themselves from any responsibility and are refusing to reimburse this fee. We won't be returning here, and I recommend that you don't use them either."
