"Dreu was an excellent tour guide sharing information from the time he picked us up at the Hilton until he dropped us off 11 hours later. He comically entertained us with his wit and antics. We had an excellent adventure! The van was comfortable and air conditioned. We toured the area around Kona and into the National Volcano Park where he provided us the standard tours but also included unique experiences like causing extra steam in the vents and showing us minerals, plants and fauna unique to Hawaii. He also made sure we saw the State Bird, the Nene, and the state tree, Kukui or candlenut tree. We visited a coffee farm and had a nice sit-down lunch outside overlooking the farm to the ocean. The black sand beach was amazing! We saw four sea turtles on the sand and two swimming in the surf. Our guide was knowledgeable about the history of the island and its geology giving us history and science lessons as well as sharing entertaining folklore. Later that evening Dreu took us stargazing off of Saddleback road and taught us about the various constellations that were visible while using his laser pointer. Despite a full moon, we viewed and learned many constellations seen in the Hawaiian latitudes."

"We did this tour a few months ago and still regard it as our best time on the island. We visited a secluded waterfalls, an incredible nature preserve and breathtaking ocean views. The lessons about the region were just as interesting as our guide, who made the day so much more enjoyable than we imagined. It was a great time and we will never forget. "Love our big island circle tour, we only had 2 days on the big island and ot gave a great sanp shot of everything there is on this magnificent island. David our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. My only criticism was that my wife and I couldn't sit next to each out which is a bit hard on an 11+ hour tour. Be prepared for a long day but if you know that going in it will be worthwhile, especially if you only have a short amount if time on the island but want to see as much of it as possible."

"Our guide Mia was very knowledgeable about the history of Hawaii. We enjoyed all her stories and the love she has for the islands. Going to the top of the volcano was so awesome and all the beautiful waterfalls and beaches. We all really enjoyed our time with her. I totally recommend this trip for anybody that comes to Kona. We visited a coffee farm then had a nice sit-down lunch outside. The black sand beach was amazing! We saw nine sea turtles. The drive up to Kilauea volcano was memorable. Dinner at the lava Rock cafe was tasty. Our guide was so knowledgeable about the history of the island and its geology. Later that evening he took us stargazing off of Saddleback road and he taught us about the various constellations that were visible while using his laser pointer. Since it was a full moon we were all able to get an amazing pic on our phones through his telescope."
