"We scheduled a Star Dinner Sunset Sail to the Na Pali Coast in early March. Sadly, the waters were deemed too rough to make the journey. Staff at Capt Andy's contacted us via text, email, and phone call to make sure we didn't want a refund or to reschedule; we were in Kauai for a limited time, so rescheduling wasn't an option, so we sailed anyway. While we were disappointed that we couldn't see the Na Pali Coast, we were NOT disappointed by anything else aboard the Northern Star!! The staff was incredible--polite, funny, and quick with the camera and the beverage refills. Captain Dave made sure we saw dolphins and whales galore, and dinner was delightful!! A good portion of our trip was under sail, which is just so peaceful. The views were, as they always seem to be in Hawaii, spectacular. I would 100% recommend this trip!! There was plenty of space on board, and everything was spotless. However, I think the Star Dinner sailings would be best for people without young children. Capt Andy's has lots of other offerings that would be perfect for young families!!"

"Crew was great. Catamaran is well maintained. Easy check-in process. Food was fine/good. Overall great experience. The boat ride out was perfect and sunny- the return trip is a bit choppy so be prepared for all types of weather and boat conditions! (Not company fault- but just nature of the ocean/weather!)"

"Had a wonderful time on the catamaran during the early morning sail to the Na Pali coast. The captain (Larry) and the deck hands made the excursion so much better. The catamaran is clean and tidy and was quite spacious. We went on a day with winds at 8 mph and it was still pretty rough especially when at the tip of the island and returning to port. If you are sensitive to motion I would recommend using something to help you with nausea. Thanks for your response. Luckily we did not suffer from any motion sickness. We absolutely loved this tour and hope we have the opportunity to do it again."

"We had an amazing experience with Captain Andy’s crew (Logan, Jay and Larry)! We did the snorkel and picnic tour and it was awesome. The napali coast was too rough so we did the southern coast which was also extremely gorgeous. We saw tons of dolphins and a few whales. Food was delicious and they were super accommodating with a vegan diet. I was 21 weeks pregnant doing this tour and felt totally safe!"
