"My kids (15 & 12) had lessons with Kainalu this week and it was a fantastic experience! They had never surfed before and after a quick beach lesson, he had them out paddling. They were up on their first waves so quickly I could hardly believe it! They said the 2 hours on the water flew by. Had so much fun they are going back for a second session. Kainalu is so friendly and confident they felt safe right away. He’s a great teacher!"

"Great experience with Kainula King. We have 2 boys 10 and 8 years old with limited English skill. Kainula is very experienced, talked 5 mins on the beach then headed to the sea. Both of them were able to pop-up on the board within a few tries. Also lots of photos been taken. Hope to do it again next time in Maui."

"Amazing time! Highly recommend!! Kainalu is an awesome, charismatic instructor, who is very friendly and has a positive vibe. He is from Hawaii and is very knowledgeable on the water. He took my 8 year, 14 year old sons, and myself out after a brief 5minute shore lesson and we spent 2 hours catching wave after wave, standing up on our first try! We left completely satisfied with our first surfing experience and have over 150+ photos to take along with our memories!!"

"My wife and I had an amazing surfing lesson in Maui with our instructor, “Kainalu King.” Despite it being her first time, my wife quickly got the hang of it and managed to ride the waves, thoroughly enjoying the experience. Personally, I was mesmerized by the breathtaking view of the West Maui Mountains – our instructor playfully referred to it as the “great office view.” After our lesson, we followed his recommendation and indulged in the Mahi burger, which turned out to be a delightful culinary experience. It’s definitely worth mentioning as an additional highlight."
