"If you want to learn to fly in a safe environment, Pacific Flight Academy is not the place for you. One of the owners is in charge of maintenance and likes to cut corners. If an issue is reported, it will either not be fixed or erased from the log entirely without being addressed. If something does happen, they will blame you for not understanding their waiver of liability: “You knew the risks”."

"This is an update since I have previously left a review. This past weekend I was able to live out a dream that I’ve had since I was 8 or so. Pacific Flight Academy made it possible for me to fly a 172 with my brother as a passenger. He has been a GA pilot for near 15 years but flying in Hawaii made it into his top three aviation experiences ever. While PFA is primarily a flight school, they were extremely accommodating for allowing me to rent the plane I completed my training in and using it to show off the islands. Thanks again!"

"Pacific Flight Academy is one of the best companies I’ve done business with. I started flight training with them as soon as they opened. I was able to start with no wait whereas other flight schools in the area were too overbooked to accept more students. Their fleet has since grown from two C172s to a fleet of six with two RV12s, one R7 and a PA28C with the promise that they will be expanding and acquiring more planes. Their planes are well maintained and I have always felt safe flying them. I’ve never had any maintenance cancellations but sometimes things happen like when the pilot before my flight popped a tire. Instead of cancelling my flight Morgen made sure I still was able to fly that day. Querying and scheduling of flights is quick and easy with their online schedule. Their hangers are clean and have a cozy lounge area to study. Overall what keeps me coming back is the friendliness and professionalism of Morgen, Bobby and the instructors made me feel like I was a part of their pilot family. I have recommended to several coworkers and friends to fly with them and recommend anyone reading this to fly with them too."
