The nuns were great with math but lacked discipline to students and upholding standards. "I attended St. John the Baptist school from 3rd-8th grade. During that time, I was able to build long lasting friendships, build confidence and I was fully prepared to get into the high school & college scene. I am thankful for the love and care that everyone at SJB has shown me and my family. As I visited St. John the Baptist recently, I felt the same care and love that they have for their students and their alumni. The kids were happy, interacting really well with one another, and they've kept the school clean. This is definitely a school I'd recommend for any child between Kindergarten to 8th grade. "This school is run by a mafia of idiots, starting with the demonic administration all the way down to the venomous teachers that are out for each others' heads. There is no such thing as quality education here anymore. The administration is currently bullying the kindergarten teacher to the point where she hasn't shown up to school in a month. To the administration (You know who you are), get a clue. The community hates you and your complete lack of ability to lead. To prospective applicants, kindly look elsewhere. This school, thanks to it's fearless "leader" is eating itself from the inside out and your children will pay for it dearly."

"I have graduated from a private Catholic school myself and I definitely have no problem with that kind of school system. I do, however, have a problem with lies, sexism, and sexual harassment. PLEASE read what I have to say. For those of you who have attended here and had a pleasant experience, it's not like that here anymore. Parents, I am warning you about a student that is currently sexually harassing other students and was NEVER resolved. Not only groping them in the bathroom and on campus but also taking pictures of them while students were using it. This was brought to the attention of the PRINCIPAL of the school and yet NOTHING was done to the student, but DETENTION. The student is still attending the school and hasn't stopped. What if your child was being harassed like this and no one, not even the principle, did anything about it? This is COMPLETELY unacceptable. Those who want to apply for this school for a teaching position, prepare for isolation, sexism, complete immaturity, and bullying, ESPECIALLY if you're a male. You would think that adults would handle things with respect and honor of the students, but no, not this school. There was a former teacher who was a male. He was the only male teacher in the school. It didn't even take a few days for him to isolated and shot down by other teachers. He was told not to do anything when he reported about the student who was sexually harassing others. Only to say, "That's just too bad," and walk away. If my child attended a school, told an authority that they were being hurt mentally through sexual harassment and they did nothing? I'm sorry, that is messed up. Not only that but they accused him (my acquaintance) of "going after kids." This came from another TEACHER in the school, NOT the parents or the students. He offered the students tutoring opportunities and cared about their education, NOT about being the favorite of the school. He was literally given a letter that said, "do not be caring or understanding." What is up with that? Shortly, he was let go, with no evidence that he was going after kids. They accused him of a very serious offense and yet had no proof. Now he doesn't have a job because of assumption? Great job, St. John's. Only now are they looking into evidence. Kind of hard when the teacher is gone, don't you think? Plus, they sent out an email saying that HE left on his own. No, he was fired. Full of lies. Never have I even been so disappointed in a school. Turn away. You are WAY better off somewhere else. Now that I know what happens behind the scenes, I'm shocked, frustrated and worried for every individual at that school. When a student's education isn't a top priority, a teacher's pride is to take out the "competition" instead of focusing on the student's education and when the safety of a child is "just too bad" where teachers are told not to be caring or understanding, I have a major problem."

"This is a small school with excellent learning experience. Where else can you find a school where teachings excel academically and morally. The fascilities are excellent .. the science center and computer lab are excellent. The faculty and staff along with parents have only one goal and that is to educate our children. I can vouch for this school as indicated by the numerous successful alumni from Saint John"
