She was proactive with my prenatal depression during my pregnancy as well as my pre-eclampsia at delivery, she was extremely thorough and caring through my polypectomy, and every time I speak to her I feel heard and like someone values my experience and needs. I cannot recommend her enough and am thankful to have her as my doctor."

"I have been seeing Dr. Gertz for the last few years and all I can say is that I’ve never had another doctor make me feel so comfortable with every visit. She took time out of her day today to fit me into her busy schedule and helped me through my recovery after I had a mass and ovary removed. As we move off island I hope to find a new doctor as good as her. Thank you for everything."

"I am writing this as a male and about the experience we had with Dr. Gertz as my Fiance's doctor. When a growth was found on my Fiance's ovary, Dr. Gertz saw us and explained what needed to be done. She coordinated with a specialized surgeon, and she followed up after the surgery multiple times throughout her recovery. When the incision unexpectedly opened, Dr. Gertz saw us on very short notice and throughout the remaining recovery. None of this was her prerogative, but because Dr. Gertz cares she really went the extra mile. When this week an unrelated ultrasound showed what might be a new growth on my Fiance's other ovary, we instinctively went straight to Dr. Gertz. She reviewed the imagery, saw us, and explained that we didn't need to worry. Now as we move off of Oahu out biggest concern is finding a doctor as good as Dr. Gertz. She is professional but has fantastic bedside manner and empathizes with her patients - something anyone reading this will know is so hard to find these days. Is she overworked? Almost certainly, and yet she makes the time and for that we are so grateful. We cannot recommend her enough."
