"Fantastic location - right next to the beach. Long term rentals only, which is great to not have tourists. Super quiet at night and people are friendly. Nearby restaurants and shopping in Wailea. Pool is a bit small, but clean and private. Kate is a fantastic manager and has done a great job keeping the complex beautiful."

"Beautiful complex that is tucked just steps from one of the best beaches in Kihei! We looked all over Maui to find the perfect complex. We shopped for over 9 months to find a unit that met our criteria! This one hit all the checkboxes such as a quiet complex, close proximity to the beach, on-site security and management, and a pool! The units are quite spacious and each one has two bathrooms! We ended up purchasing a 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom unit, and we fell in love with the layout, natural light, and complex. The neighbors are all incredibly friendly too! While we were doing some renovations, we frequently had neighbors lend us tools or even offer to help! There are lots of young families and it feels very safe! We're a young couple who will be long-term renting our unit for a little while until we get our lives back home ready for a move to the island to be with extended family. We can't wait! We are also quite impressed by the HOA management thus far! Thank you for all that you do! It's clear that this complex has made a real effort to invest in the buildings, landscaping, and community. They also no longer allow short-term rentals which makes it extra quiet! We LOVE Kihei Shore!"

"Beach is close and access to a few restaurants and bars is within walking distance. However, I’m guessing each unit is handled similar to all units and if that’s true, I’m pretty disappointed by the upkeep of the condos. We were greeted with an AC unit that the previous renters stayed in for just minutes only to find a wasp nest built. It was still not cleaned out when we checked in, the cleaning crew showed up some a few hours later to clean parts of the nest near the corner table. We ended up staying only to have a ton of bugs and cockroaches infest our unit. By this time, we decided to live with it and try not to let it ruin our vacation. You get here after hours of planning, saving, and flying, the last thing we wanted to do is try and find another place. Time is too precious on vacation so we dealt with it but my complaint is sincere"

"It depends on what you want... you can’t beat the location and the Manager on property, Lisa has turned this place around and made it better for all. Pool , hot tub with great powerful jets, friendly people."

"It's called A1A back home which means we are on the beach side. Kihei Shores is quiet and convenient. It's also far enough away that we don't feel like we live in a tourist community."
