Kīhei Regency Apartments

"We are current residents and have lived here for 7 years. Our rent is raised wherever our lease is renewed but it is still the cheapest place to live in Kihei. Our only complaint besides no car wash area is that our pools have been closed for over 2 years and they are not reopening them. This is extremely frustrating for us as we have young kids and want to use the pools."

"Great apartments and an excellent staff! The location is amazing. Its right smack dab in between Kamaole one and two beaches. You can walk to them in 5 minutes. It is also within walking distance of some really good restaurants and stores. I would absolutely recommend these apartments!"

"I love living here. It might be the only apartment on the island that has walking access to the beach three blocks away, as well as every kind of food including a health food store with a buffet, clothing -basically everything you need in walking distance. The beaches there at cam 1, 2, & 3 are perfect for families and daily swims and sunsets. I have heard about these bad reviews but many of them are old and the new management is super kind and professional, laid-back but enforcing a turnover of riffraff into a lot of retirees and families. Just a couple of blocks away from the main drag kihei Road, It is very quiet with views of both the OCEAN and Haleakala- 10,000 foot volcano! I could go on but it sounds like I am selling the place, but there’s a lot of old negative stuff and the place is turning over into one of the best deals in town and a safe environment... if you’re not trying to hide anything illegal like a broken down car or stolen car parked there -which happens. Don’t come to Maui if you can’t afford it. I think the owner really watches out for the place and is constantly making changes and upgrades and keeping it all clean, and I can’t say enough about the staff in particular Michelle. "My wife and I were a little apprehensive to move here at first because of the poor reviews, however it was very difficult to find housing in Kihei so we decided to go for it. The apartments are simple and small, so they may be difficult for people with children, but they are also among the most affordable apartments in the area. The management is good, they are very friendly and respond to maintenance requests and other questions quickly. Our only complaint is that it can sometimes be a bit loud, but that's what happens when you live so close to other people who all leave their windows open because the weather is perfect all the time! The previous people who left negative reviews are likely disgruntled former residents who were asked to leave because of behavior problems. Not the greatest apartments, but not many other options at this price."
