"Awesome location. In the northen most Kihei resort, right on the beach, no road in between the condo and the beach. Great snorkeling right from your condo. Easy access to the highways, very centrally located. You can go North to Kapalua Bay and Honolua Bay, you can go South to Makena landing and Maalaea, you can easily go to Kahalui and Paia too. Very nice area, Ululanis and ABC stores are walking distance from the condo too!"

"Many units are owned by individuals so your experience may vary. We rented 508 and it was marvelous. Super clean, freshly remodeled and a kitchen that had everything. Very central to all areas of Maui. Met a few residents and they were an added bonus of friendliness. Underground secure private parking. ELEVATOR!! Carts for luggage and groceries. 100% recommend."

"NO KIDS ALLOW AT THE POOL!!! The Good -The view is lovely. We sat on the porch every morning and in the evenings, we sat on the lawn and watched the sunset. We had the most beautiful view also from the living room window and both bedroom windows. With the window open, the was a magnificent breeze and we fell asleep every night to the sound of the waves. We also had a great view of the pool (which needed up being a bad thing—read bad comments for pool review). -The condo was stocked with dishes, pots and pans, spices, oils, medicines, lots of towels, blankets, extra sheets, and loads of beach toys and boogie boards. We did our shopping before we checked in, but there was probably a lot we didn’t need to buy. We will leave it for the next guest to enjoy! It was really great to have a washer/dryer in the unit. -The property grounds is well maintained. There is a grill that is kept clean and a couple of picnic tables. The pool is the perfect size and is 8 feet deep at one end. (See the bad comment about the pool though). -The location of the condo on the island is great. It’s halfway between all the West Maui beaches and the South Maui beaches. It’s also a nice central location to get to Iao Valley, Haleakala, and The Upcountry area. Kihei is nice and close where you can find plenty of affordable restaurants, groceries, and there is a farmer’s market and shave ice stand (Ululani’s—Google it) about 5 minutes away. We also walked next door and had lunch at Dina’s one day! The Bad -The pool—oh the pool. My 11 year old daughter wanted to swim in the pool everyday when we returned from our adventures. However…the pool had “adult time” (ages 18+) from 12-1 and 5-9 everyday. That’s the time she wanted to swim—after 5pm. It seems from 12-1 is when two old ladies who live at the condo do their “exercise” (they float around the pool a few times on pool noodles). Then, from 5-9, the pool sits empty except for the amorous couple who’d run off the two old ladies. My daughter would sit on the balcony eyeing the pool and lamenting how it wasn’t being used. Later in our stay, a family showed up, disregarded the rules and let their kids swim every night. This stung even more because we are rule followers. If you have kids who love pool swimming, maybe skip this place. Even when it was kid time in the pool, we would get a lot of side eye from the older ladies. -The beach is not super pretty, but it is a nice walking beach. The water is more dark brown than blue. If you leave the condo and head south, you’ll pass at least a few beach vagrants. If you head north, it’s really pretty and there aren’t any condos north of this resort, which is nice. There was a guy smoking marijuana on the beach in the mornings, but he was staying with his family at the condo. The Ugly -The pool. Did you see the pool comment? I had to mention it again because is was annoying every. single. day. If I would have know about the crazy pool rules, I wouldn’t have booked here. I spoke to several other families staying there and they said the same thing. There is also a sign entering the pool are that states no screaming, no horseplay, no big movements, no fun of any kind. Ok, I made up the the last two, but they aren’t far off. There is a sign posted that says no diving or jumping in the pool—it is for swimming only. Seriously? Apparently, one of the condo owners said this new pool rule for no kids just happened a couple of months ago (after we booked). She was completely against it (as were the managers). The condo board passed it quietly without input from other owners. How terrible. And how sneaky to not say anything to people who booked their trips prior to passing the no kids rule???"

"Our unit was not clean, very small and we experienced road noice day and night. Grounds very nice. If you wanted to use a lounge you had to lift it off a stack and haul it where you are going to use it and then put it back. Not easy for seniors. On ocean side, nice view from most of the units."

"Stayed here for a week!! Loved the view from the Lanai. Only drawback was the Unit did not have AC in the bedroom, they had a window AC in the living room. So took couple days for the entire house to cool down. Otherwise a great house with beach access, beach toys, chairs etc. Designated parking lot was a plus."
