"We absolutely loved our stay in apartment 302. The owner Blain is an amazing host, he went out of his way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. His home is completely updated, it is beautiful and has amazing views. My daughter loved the turtle theme, she counted 95 turtles around the home. We feel blessed to have found Hale Mahina Beach Resort online and for the opportunity to meet Blain and many other amazing people. We are absolutely returning to Maui and booking our next stay in apartment 302. Mahalo!"

"Location is great and pool was nice. Lack of air conditioning in the middle of July was a bit warm. Unit 403b has two sky lights with no covers, so it gets bright early."

"Stay away from unit B101 and the management company Chase N Rainbows. Our condo was filthy including moldy curtains and a moldy wall in the bedroom. On top of that, the fridge didn’t work. The management company was less than helpful. I never did get that call from the manager that was promised. The property itself is in a great location and we saw turtles every day. I’m sure the other units are fine, this one was in rough shape."

"Absolutely fantastic small condo resort! This place is such a refreshing contrast to the sanitized, no-personality mega resorts down tve coast. With just a few dozen units, each featuring a full kitchen, lanai, and each owners personal touches, staying here really feels like temporarily joining a small community. The units are spacious, providing enough room to spread out and really get comfortable. The amenities are exactly what you need and none of what you don’t- a cool pool and jacuzzi, charcoal BBQs, gorgeous landscaping, and most importantly, a nearly private beach steps from your door, no elevator required. A major bonus- apparently turtles regularly come ashore here, and we saw four during our stay! This whole complex is really just an A+ for me. The one thing to know is that at least our unit did not have AC, which was not actually a problem at all thanks to the plentiful windows to open to the sea breezes. But keep in mind each unit is owned by a different person, with different amenities. All in all the design of this place encourages a focus on what you are here for, with none of the annoying frills of a bigger resort that you know you won’t end up using anyway."

"Simply amazing place to stay. Small and quiet. Close to shops and the private beach is amazing. We saw turtles in the water and on the beach everyday we were there. The facility is well maintained and the onsite management was friendly and very accommodating. The pool and spa were always clean and the BBQ was a blast during sunset."
