"I had a dreadful dive experience with Shennon. The preparation was abysmal – missing wetsuit and fins, and when she finally got them, they didn't fit well. To add to the frustration, her torch malfunctioned after just 15 minutes, and with no backup, we were forced to abandon the dive. Shockingly, no complete refund was offered. A disappointing and poorly managed dive, to say the least. Response to Shannon's comment: 1. Contrary to Shannon's claim, we clearly communicated our need for all the necessary gear, not just diving gear, both during the booking process and directly to her at the shop. 2. It is important to note that Shannon never informed us about the limited functionality of her torch for the entire dive. The assertion that we were offered a full refund is inaccurate, and we would have certainly accepted such an offer. Additionally, the lack of a working torch and a missing backup torch for the Dive guide raises concerns about the overall preparation for the dive. 3. Numerous issues occurred during the dive, and the extent of the problems experienced is beyond belief. Considering the multiple challenges faced, we believe it is only fair to request a complete refund for the unsatisfactory experience."

"I participated in a scuba diving excursion with this company on December 29, 2023, and unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. The experience was marred by numerous issues that severely compromised our safety and enjoyment. From the get-go, there were problems with the equipment. Despite prior communication, essential items like wetsuits and fins were missing, causing unnecessary delays. The scheduled night dive was changed abruptly to an inadequate time, the sun wasn´t even down. Moreover, the dive guide was ill-prepared with equipment, lacking a second torch and having a poorly charged primary one, resulting in the dive being canceled merely 15 minutes in. In addition to the equipment problems, there were safety concerns, with inadequate weight distribution making it necessary for us to exert extra effort to stay submerged. The ill-fitting equipment further added to the discomfort, and the lack of attention to beginners made the experience even more challenging. Furthermore, the demeanor of the dive guide was highly unprofessional and rude, further adding to our dissatisfaction. On top of everything, the lack of communication regarding our responsibility to reach the dive site independently was frustrating and added unnecessary confusion. This experience was far below the promised standards and not worth the time or money. For a supposed recreational activity, it was a complete letdown. I strongly advise reconsidering before choosing this company for any diving experiences."

"Not only did Shannon hook us up with 2 Beach chairs and an umbrella for $25 (about a 1/3 of the resort "special"), a snorkel/fins rental, and throw in a free boogie board rental, but she was just awesome and so helpful. I only wish I was in town long enough to gets some dives in with them. Regardless, the next time we are in town, this is where we are going for all our beach lounging, snorkeling, diving, and general Kauai mayhem. Thanks all for a great experience."

"We stopped in here after breakfast as the sign for locally made jewelry caught my eye. The owner, Shannon, was very nice. She pulled more jewelry from the back as I was browsing and explained that local middle schoolers had made some of the jewelry so that the proceeds could be sent to schools in Maui that have been offering meals to locals affected by the fires. Some of the jewelry was made by Shannon herself. Prices ranged from $10 to several thousand for necklaces made out of rare sea shells sourced locally. Overall it’s a great little shop, and this was a highlight of my souvenir shopping. You also can’t beat the view from behind the strip mall. 10/10 recommend stopping in here for locally made jewelry."

"Epic Dive Adventures, what an amazing shop and even better people. My wife and I completed our open diving certification here and it was better than we could have imagined. Shannon and Grey were very helpful and incredibly nice. After our experience, in addition to receiving our certification we’ve also gained some new friendships here in Kauai. The passion this shop has for environmentalism and conservation is contagious. I can’t recommend enough."
