Kauai Urgent Care

"Arrived here and after short wait called into exam room. From there we were told two patients ahead of us and would be approx 20 mins. After over an hour went by, with no update, we decided to leave. I understand if there was a higher priority case that came in but at least have the courtesy of some type of update. Unprofessional and not a place I want to trust with medical care"

"The medical team here is amazing. I wish we had this level of care back in the lower 48. Minimal wait, great attitude, and super efficient. I want to take this urgent care back home with me. Couldnt ask for better care while on vacation."

"Feels a bit strange reviewing an Urgent Care facility (right after reviewing something as important as pizza)....but I thought they were phenomenal. It took me awhile (hour?) to get in, but it was also right in the middle of the day, and that seems quite out of their control (also, they told me it would be an hour when I checked in, so...). But once I was in, I was seen by the doctor quickly, and then had a pretty big battery of tests ordered just to rule stuff out. I was worried about how long this would take, but was quickly/efficiently handed off from one nurse to another, had a quick follow-up with the doctor, and was out the door with a (much needed) prescription order. The doctor was great, nurses were great and well-staffed...and the doctor himself called later that day to go over test results."

"Nothing worse than getting sick while on vacation. Ugh! But, the good news is that we were very impressed with the quality of care we received at this clinic. The clinic opens at 8:00. We were here at 7:45, and there was already a line of about six people ahead of us. By 8:30 my wife was called back to be seen. You can wait outside (or in your car) while waiting to be called back. They will phone you when they are ready to see you. Three ladies were taking admissions. Things move along pretty quick if you come early. By 9:00 they was no longer a line of patients waiting at the admissions windows. We were out of here by 9:40. Dr. Nicholas Leonard was her physician. Very impressed with his level of thoroughness and attention. We were also very impressed with all of the staff. Very professional and extremely pleasant to work with."
