"We enjoyed our stay at Aston at Poipu Kai. The location was very convenient to Poipu Beach and also easy to access from Lihue. We were able to do many activities during our visit on the south shore. The condo was clean, had good household amenities to use, and the bed was comfortable. My only knock is the fees upon check in were higher than expected. The fees and taxes in total averaged over $100 per night. We never utilized the pool or dvd rentals or any facilities so that money was a bit of a waste for us."

"The location had close access to beach as expected, and the grounds were very nice, but the condo was nothing like the pictures and was in very poor repair. There were no working outlets in either bathroom, only one outlet in the master bathroom would hold a plug, and many other outlets in the condo would also not hold plugs, There was a hole in the master toilet wall and the fixtures were very corroded. The WiFi was poor, and had poor band width. One had to reboot the router often, and re-attach to the internet many times."

"There was no central AC; only AC units. It was extremely hot and humid inside. The room was spacious, but it was just unbearably hot inside. There was an additional resort fee that was not stated in the original payment. We pre-paid and was not made aware that there would be additional fees tagged on when we checked in. Location is great. Walking distance to Poipu Beach."

"The unit initially assigned to us was infested with starfish on the mattress. And i had to bring it to the attention of the house keeping management and staff management. This all women team took immediate care to move us to a different unit which was an upgrade with a splendid ocean view and made sure our 9 day vacation was off to a great start. Thank you Takera, Lilet! You and your team are the best. As for the room itself, this is fully equipped with everything you need, splendid swimming pools and about 5 mins to Brennecks beach where we saw Hawaiian green turtles resting. I'd greatly recommend this place because of the friendly staff and the convenience it offers to beaches and eateries nearby"
