"These guys are RUDE to hikers on the PCT. They get government funding to operate and treat people who are hiking like trash."

"To be clear, the chalet only seems to be an access point to the beautiful trail. The water taxi and camp store staff are very friendly. Ride a water taxi to the far end of the lake and walk back or reverse it, or hike both ways, about 6 miles RT. We arrived by 9:30 and got the last parking spot. But people come and go so you should be able to find a spot."
"Price of water taxi has gone up but not their fault due to gas prices and last years fire. Our pilot was very friendly and knowledgeable answering all our questions. She was great."
"These people are the best. During the Caldor fire they shuttled myself and other firefighters all day and throughout the night across the lake. Without them we couldn’t get the supplies and people where they needed to be to protect the homes around the lake and the desolation wilderness. They literally slept in their boats and were on call all night for weeks to support us."
