"Goldfish was easy to work with at the beginning of my lease. However, over time it became harder and harder to get in touch with my contacts at Goldfish about simple questions/clarifications. I renewed my lease twice, and it became clear that Goldfish was very responsive and on top of getting me to sign the updated leases, which always included an increase in rent. It never failed that the monthly rent rate would increase with each renewal. Lastly, there was zero communication from Goldfish when it came time to end the lease and move out. I reached out multiple times weeks in advance to make sure I had taken care of everything they required upon move out, even though there was nothing in my lease that required anything special upon move out. The day I moved out, then Goldfish became responsive again, but only to let me know they would charge me for cleaning, even though there is no cleaning requirement in the lease. It was a very unpleasant experience with my contact at Goldfish as I could tell they were frantic realizing I had been reaching out. I had to follow-up continuously to get any information about when and how my security deposit would be sent. Again, it wasn't until I brought up the 30 day law in NV for landlords that anything actually happened. Long story short, it seems that Goldfish only cares about their tenants or communicates with them when they are looking for money. It really did leave a bad taste in my mouth, and did not feel professional. I would consider other property managers in the area in the future."

"We rented a condo in mccloud complex for 21 days in July. We found the bbq was out of gas and called Goldfish. They had someone within 30 minutes drop off a new tank. I felt the condo was well stocked and we had no problems with anything while we stayed. During covid, we didn’t have guest passes to the private beaches. The loot tubs weren’t available either due to covid. Idk if that will change for summer of 2022. That is out of Goldfish realm of responsibility. I like staying in incline village- there’s a lot of choices of restaurants and the lake path is close where you can walk or rent a bike. I enjoy walking lakeshore drive too. It’s not crowded but you can drive to king beach or other nearby cities to enjoy more activities."

"Do not partner / rent from Boyd at Goldfish properties. He misrepresents the listings, is incapable of resolving issues and has zero care about he end consumer’s experience. His properties are worn down and in need of an upgrade with low quality linens and NO standard of care. He is difficult to deal with and not responsive as issues come up. Will NEVER rent from him again - an expensive rental with the quality of a rundown hostel. Customer service is clearly not something he cares about given the tight Tahoe market. "We made a reservation through VRBO, but it was managed by Goldfish properties. We had problems with the presentation or better misrepresentation of the unit we got. When we called, the agent, Sue, was extremely unprofessional. Instead of listening, she is acting annoyed. Never mind that customer service is her job. She never returned our Call regarding a separate matter( basically we made a reservation in Incline village to be able to access the beach and facilities. But we never got the access card. We called to inquire. No response) . We drove to their office and this time another woman from across the parking lot tells us the office is closed and she is an employee. Once we said what our problem is, she is just responding rudely. She blames it all on COVID. I don’t know ... is their tone and customer service also COVID related? Never again..."

"My family and I rented a 3 bedroom condo on lakeshore from Goldfish Properties. It was a seamless process. We found what we wanted on the website, picked out our dates and picked up the keys when we got there. It was great to see that the actual condo matched the pictures we saw online. We have had problems with VRBO in the past. I would highly recommend Goldfish Properties to anyone that asked me. Their staff was very professional. Mike, I think he is a manager, was really nice and easy to work with."
