"We have old cars. I’ve used “the fastest towing company” on Maui several times and have gotten excellent response, but last Wednesday morning when I called, the operator said they were very busy, but someone would call me soon. I was in a safe place, had some snacks, and a good book, so that was okay. An hour went by and I’d received no call back, so I called that towing company. Again, I was told that they were busy, but someone would call me soon. A second hour went by. No call by that towing company. I called again and was assured someone would call me soon. A third hour was coming up, I was almost finished with my book, I’d missed a class, and still no call. So I Googled “tow trucks in Kahului.” Luna's Towing and Auto Repair was near the top. I called and asked how soon they could come and the price. I was told they would be there within 25 minutes and was quoted a price $45.00 cheaper than the company I’d now spent three hour waiting for. That sounded good to me. But before they would come, the Luna guy said for me to call the first company to cancel – which was, of course, the right thing to do. When I called that company, the operator tried to defend the three-hour wait with no contact from them. I was then told I just needed to pay, and they would be there within 30 minutes. Right. I cancelled. In stark contrast, Luna's arrived within 20 minutes, faster than they had said. I didn’t need to pay until they arrived. The Luna guys, Roger and Dan, were friendly, professional, and efficient. The next time we need tow truck service, even if I’m in a safe place and have a good book with me, I’ll call Luna right away. Luna’s Towing and Auto Repair has actual quick response, good prices, and professional service. I recommend them highly. Mahalo"
