"Don’t bring younger kids here. I called in advance to see if there was climbing and routes for 3-4 year olds and they said “yeah, there’s lots of stuff for them to do.” There aren’t. The kids couldn’t even reach the start of any routes and got lots of dirty looks from everyone climbing (I don’t blame them, this place isn’t at all for kids). After 10 minutes and no kid fun, I went back to the front desk to ask for a refund and was met with a blank stare. The manager was not remotely understanding, accommodating, or kind. It was actually impressive how rude the customer service was. Looks like a cool gym, but can’t say I’d ever go back to a business after being treated like that."

"The gym itself is great, in a convenient location, and I enjoyed the classes I went to, although the class schedule rarely worked out for me. The Truckee location at least could use some more early morning / later evening classes. Unfortunately I had some medical issues that arose after 2 months of membership and asked to freeze my membership as I've been advised not to work out until I have had surgery. I was told that, because I joined with the Black Friday special, this was impossible. "Black Friday membership is our most heavily discounted membership and there are strict restrictions as to modifications and freezes. We can't do anything to modify this membership." The Black Friday special came out to $75 pp per month. Any other time that you purchase a 3 month membership for 2, it's $97 pp per month, but if you pay for the whole year upfront for 2 people, it is $68.75 pp per month....so this promotion was not the most heavily discounted. Very frustrating that an exception couldn't be made and I couldn't freeze my account while I waited for and then recovered from surgery. This exchange was so off-putting that between that, the lack of childcare, and the class schedule not working for me, I just decided to cancel my membership."
