"Renting a mobile scooter for my mom was an easy experience. I communicated via text with Maui Vacation rentals. I actually booked one day later than anticipated, and they sent me a link to correct it, then we wanted to extend our rental so I received another link to pay for the extension. Communication was quick. They sent me directions to the locker in north Kihei with a code, and we picked it up. It was folded up, and though we had some difficulty raising the seat, we figured it out. They provided a video which we could have watched if needed. There were two speeds to the scooter, and my mom preferred to stay in the slower mode. For us it was better to walk alongside her, so that she didn’t go over edges of curbs or raised grass that may have her tip. Having this scooter meant that my mom could join us for longer walks to restaurants or into a shop. She also went to the edge of the beach with us for New Year’s Eve sunset, and we walked with her to the sand where we toasted in the new year and took some great photos. We would use Maui rentals again if needed."
