"Recently during our vacation my daughter broke a bracket. Not sure what to do I called the Hawaii Orthodontist office number. it was after hours however they listed the names and telephone numbers of the names and telephone numbers of the Orthodontists. I called Dr. Tammi Chang and left a voicemail thinking I would most likely have to wait until the next day to get a call back. To my delight Dr. Chang called me back within five minutes and reassured me they could see my daughter the next morning. We were able to get my daughter into the Hawaii Orthodontist Office, fix the broken bracket and still had time to get to our planned activities for the day. Thank you Dr. Tammi Chang and everyone at the Hawaii Orthodontist office. You not only saved our day but saved our vacation."

"Best ortho ever!!! I am sooo grateful! EVERYONE in the office (front and back) is just so sweet! I love all of my visits because they all truly care and make you feel so well taken care of! Scheduling is fast and easy. Appointments are fast and easy. Their beautiful newly renovated office is just the icing on the cake too. PROFESSIONALS that saved my teeth and smile! I started my braces journey at the end of 2018. One month before being scheduled to remove my braces, I fainted and broke my jaw. I literally had straight teeth and then this happened! After the fainting incident, they took me in first thing in the morning after the ER! I left them a voicemail around midnight, and they called me right away to come in! From there we continued months of braces wear and check ups during my jaw surgery recovery, and months later I’m back to normal! I cannot believe I still have my teeth. They did such an amazing job at keeping my teeth in check and my emotional wellness too. They never gave me false promises and always explained the risk/status of my teeth having gone through so much trauma… but still! They made me feel so hopeful and well taken care of. I highly suggest this office for all ages in need of ortho services. They are literally the best and sweetest, I’m so so grateful for them."

We weren't sure what to do since everything was closed for the next two days, so I left a voicemail at Hawaii Orthodontist hoping to get a call back the next day. To our surprise, we received a call within minutes from Dr. Chang-Motooka who walked us through some temporary relief procedures over the phone and even saw us in person just an hour later to fix the problem and wouldn't accept any payments.
