"I called to inquire about purchasing a vehicle. I was very transparent about my current situation and wanted to see if there was anything they could do to help. I recently gave birth to my first son and my family needs a new vehicle within our budget and something we may possibly qualify for given our circumstances. The owner of this business called me and started belittling me about the fact that I have children and I did not plan for it. The fact that I'm not making a ton of money and I had a car previously that I could not afford. He then went on to say that I should have known better when I was purchasing my vehicle two years ago and shouldn't have made that mistake. He then started to talk on my other half and belittle him for taking care of our son!! Not to mention, my boyfriend and I have NOBODY to lean on and we are doing this on our own!! We are trying our hardest to make it in this life!! He also had the AUDACITY to say we're causing our child to suffer!! AS A MATTER OF FACT, OUR CHILDREN HAVE EVERYTHING THEY COULD EVER WANT AND NEED!!!! NOBODY IS MISERABLE OR SUFFERING!!!! WE HAVE A ROOF OVER OUR HEADS, CLOTHES ON OUR BACKS, FOOD IN OUR FRIDGE AND WE ARE HAPPY!!!!! I DID NOT CALL TO BE QUESTIONED ABOUT MY LIFE DECISIONS AND BELITTLED ABOUT MY SITUATION!! If you were not able to help me THAT IS FINE!! YOU COULD HAVE SAID THAT AND LEFT YOUR NASTY RUDE COMMENTS ABOUT MY FAMILY AND FINANCES ALONE!!! After I had just about enough of his unnecessary comments about my life, I hung up. This is the voicemail he left!! Mind you, not once was I RUDE!! I was looking to see if there was ANYTHING they could do! THATS ALL!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!"

"DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME - NOT A REPUTABLE DEALER. We were in communication about 2 cars and Linne agreed to have my mechanic look at it. He confirmed with me the evening before and of course 30 minutes prior to our appointment the next day when I called to confirm we were still good to go he said he sold one of the cars to his wife's friend and someone else put a deposit down on the other. Don't waste your time no matter how cheap the car is, no reputable dealer would do something like this. If I could give 0 stars, I would!"

"DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE. The prices are enticing, but you are going to end up with a lemon. The guy Linne is the DEFINITION of sleezy car salesman. Up front very nice and charming, but then as time progresses tries to gaslight, manululate and downplay everything. If you ask him any direct questions on maintenance or quality, he gets very condescending and defensive. I ended up purchasing a car from him because the price seemed good for what I was getting. I had not even made it back to town before two maintenance lights came on. He clearly had adjusted them before I did the test drive. I had to pay 1.5 years of back taxes on the registration. And then also after taking it in to be reviewed by a car shop….found out it needed to have $3K worth of repairs done and that it could stop driving any moment. More than the cost I had paid for the car…. Lone star has literal car mechanics. They knew they had a lemon. They just wanted to squeeze it and see what they could get."

"I recently moved to Oahu. I needed a vehicle that could transport my grandsons toys. After searching other websites for cars, I was told about Lone Star Motosports. I looked at their web site and didn't believe the low prices. But it was true! No crazy salesman. Just vehicles and honesty. Only place to buy a used vehicle. A blessing i found. Highly recommended."
