"Chasity was great, I struggle with dental anxiety and she made sure to explain the process and what she was doing throughout my visit. My only issue is each time I come in I'm told different information about my appointment than I was told over the phone. Example over the phone I was told it was a standard cleaning visit verses showing up and being told it's a deep cleaning maintenance visit. The communication in the front of the house is not consistent."

"My entire family has been coming here for about 4 years now, staff is super friendly and service is efficient and so good. My kids love it here, they have had bad experiences in the past to where it made them kind of skeptical when we started coming here. But they love it, the hygienist there take care and made them feel comfortable. From services, even down to the financial. Everything made simple☺️"

"Staff is friendly and does a great job with oral work. The front desk however needs to get it together. Had an appointment scheduled and they asked if I could come in early but failed to tell me only my X-rays got moved up and not my cleaning I would’ve had to wait an hour when it could’ve been avoided if they told me not my whole appointment would be moved up, I would not have agreed to come in earlier. I was charged that day for my X-rays and cleaning I payed and rescheduled.I had got an email that they moved my appointment up by three hours without my approval I had to call several times to have it changed back to my original time. Day comes around they tried charging me for my cleaning when I had already paid. They are a mess and aren’t very professional when it comes to handling their clients."

"The quality of an office begins with the lobby. Don’t get me wrong this facility is nice, but the front desk workers who check you in, have been extremely rude all three times I’ve been here. I have been a loyal customer with Hawaii Dental for 15 + years. I have never had an issue with HIPPA and checking in or people making me feel like my questions weren’t valid. Crowns are expensive and it was heart breaking to feel embarrassed that the whole office heard how much I paid including patients in the waiting room, including my husbands name, and being spoken to in a manner that made me feel like I was paying for a $3 crown. It was $1200. The first time I came in I provided my work insurance with my husbands. To my understanding we were told that crowns were covered in his insurance since I was added. Total came out to be close to $1200. I just wanted to make sure that this wasn’t user error on my part so I called his insurance. They told me to have my dentist remove my dental insurance from my workplace and give my husbands insurance card with the supplemental card and that should do it. I tried my best explaining that to the woman at the front and she just looked at me and spoke to me as if I were dumb. I get that it’s hard to deal with people. I work in healthcare also. But she didn’t even try to hear me out. When I got out of my appointment the front desk just looked at me and eyed me out. There was zero customer service. The only reason I am writing this is because I double checked with our insurance and she said I gave the wrong cards to the front desk. I was by no means rude, harsh or cruel. Even if there was nothing that could be done, showing effort to double check is what I’m getting at. It’s not $3 it’s $1200. It’s a service and for $1200 I’d like to make sure that I am using services I’m paying for through insurance and out of pocket. And I don’t think I’m wrong or rude for that. It might take an extra 10 minutes but I think that it’s worth looking into. Please do better. We’re not dealing with small money, not everyone has this kind of money. I will not be returning. The Doctor and Hygienist were great but their work is overshadowed by front lobby workers who would rather tell a patient to f*k off than take that 10 mins to see if it changed the cost."
