Kapolei Keiki Dental

"Dr. Stephen Sueda is very rude and disrespectful. My daughter did a root canal last year and we were told by the specialist to schedule with Kapolei Keiki Dental to do a crown ASAP. I scheduled the earliest appointment I could get to start the process to do the crown, but when we get there they tell us that she’s only there for a cleaning/check up. I told them we are there to start the process for her crown as we were advised by the specialist. After pushing the issue with them they finial agreed to start the process for her crown. After my daughter was done 3 appointments was scheduled for 1 - a cleaning, 2 - for them to make the impression for her crown and the last was to put the crown in. We return for her appointment for her cleaning and upon completion of her appointment Dr. sueda tells me her next visit is going to be for 2 other teeth that he sees that need attention, to which I respond that her next appointment is to do the do the next steps for her crown. He tells me he wants to do her other teeth first. I again refuse to allow him to move on to another tooth before finishing the first thing he started. He keeps insisting very rudely and condescendingly on not completing her crown till after he works on her other problem areas. I again refuse and tell him to finish the first tooth he started then we can proceed to her other tooth being that all her appointments were already scheduled for her crown. At this point I’m angry as advocating for my daughter. He then tells me “I feel like your getting angry at me, and I wasn’t the one who put the cavities there in the first place”. I told him that he was rude and very unprofessional as a doctor to speak to his patients the way he was. I told him to finish her crown and we will go somewhere else for the rest of her treatment. He finally agreed. Needless to say I won’t be taking her back there after all that has transpired. Any good recommendation for a new dentist for my teenage daughter?"

"We take both our kids here, love their service. Especially with my younger one they understand her nervousness and is able to assure her and show her everything is ok. She comes out excited and ready to talk story about her visit. With my older one very good with providing best recommendations when we have a loose tooth or pain."
