"Easy in and parking. Shuttle ran every 20 mins and even though we missed our scheduled ride by a couple minutes they kindly put us on the next. Take note, on the way out of the park, you may have to wait as a line forms. We waited 30+ minutes for a return shuttle to bring us back to the parking lot where you start your journey. Allow ample time. Overall, a great way to see the park, which is breathtaking!"
"We choose to take the shuttle from the Waipa Park and Ride to Haena State Park in February. We had been snorkeling at Ke’e Beach a few times before (during summer months) and wanted to snorkel and swim. (It is great in the summer months)We were told by a couple people (not the website or people we called about the shuttle) that we may not be able to snorkel in the winter but could swim. When we got to ke’e there was no snorkeling or swimming allowed. This would have been good to know before paying $40 each to get on the shuttle. Also the shuttle claims to have multiple stops, but the only stops our shuttle made were at Haena State Park and the Colony Resort. Ke’e is beautiful all year round , if you’re going up to do the hike to the Falls (which I’ve done a couple times) or just want to take in the view, it’s well worth the $40. But if you’re wanting to snorkel or swim in the winter months, I would save yourself the $40 and drive to a Anini Beach, the water great there and we saw many fish and sea turtles."
"We were able to get a park and ride for the Napali Coast hike quickly for our family of 6. I wasn’t sure at first how it would all work because this was our first time not driving there, But it all went very smoothly. They sent an email with instructions, arrived 10 min early as suggested and got in easily with our code confirmations. We took the early morning ride so we could hike to the waterfall and enjoy it there and still made the last ride out. Easy process and was so beautiful there."
"$70 for two people to hop on a shuttle and enter the park. It's a little steep when you consider other park options, but overall I thought it was a good experience. Some of the best hiking you can do anywhere in the US resides in this park - don't miss the waterfall!"
