"I saw someone post that famous footwear was giving away a paur of shoes for the ones affected by the lahaina fire. Just had to show your driver license for verification of address and shoe size. I lost my house and belonging in the fire and needed shoes. So I figured i go there. I have bought many pairs of shoes there in the past. Today I looked for shoes but could not find my size 13. I tried on couple of size 12 and found a pair of under Armour and decided to get it because I needed shoes and it was manageable and thought maybe I could break it in because I really needed a pair of shoes. I approached the counter and the older Caucasian or portugese lady asked me if I wanted some socks. I replied no I just need new shoes I lost mine when my home burnt down in lahaina. So I showed her my ID Thinking before she ask me verification for lahaina address. She didn't even look at my ID and gave me a total cost. I then told her that I saw a post that they were giving a pair of shoes to people affected by the fire in lahaina. She then pointed to a sign hanging from the ceiling in the store and said depends on the price you get the percentage off. She then gave me the total cost after taking off 15% and started putting the shoes in a bag. It appeared to me that I was talking to a programed robot. No emotion no custmer service and no smile. I then told her that sorry I thought you guys were giving a pair of shoes away to the people that was affected by the lahaina fire. I also told her that I'm sorry but that was not my size and that they didn't have my size but I really needed some shoes and I was willing to make it work. She looked at me with a no emotion. I again told her the same thing and she pulled the shoes out-of the package and placed it on the side. Then then said next in line. I told her sorry Aunty but it's not my size so I don't think I should buy it at that price mahaos.she did not reply. I don't know where she is from. But I can tell you this she was not born here in Hawaii or even lived her long. No Aloha"
