"It seems like a quite a few people on the reviews for this store have had a run in with the parking lot guard. This women with a security badge is the worst and you should launch her into outer space. It would be a much better use of the ABC stores money to fire her for being terrible to pretty much every customer who comes near the store and use that money to just put signs in all the spots reserved for the store. (I’m not sure any spot in that lot is exclusively used for just the ABC store as it’s a shared lot but whatever). Anyway the ABC stores were a regular stop for my family every time we come to Maui but it’s not worth the hassle going to any ABC store if they hire employees like this. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere other than this store."
"Loved it. Location is right on great access. Security personally named Mary is friendly and courteous. Without her, we would not be able to shop here. The shaved ice business next door is great, but they really could suggest to their customers that parking is available in back of the store for shaved ice. Mary, you rock!! Aloha."
"This is probably the first one star review I ever wrote. We are on our way to the airport and wanted to grab something from ready to eat food from abc store. This store happens to be on our path to the airport so we decided to drop by the store. Everything was great and happy until we parked in one of the spots reserved for abc store customers. The lady who presumably is the security of the store came rushing to our car and question where we are shopping. When I told her we are here for the abc store, she skeptically questions if I was really here for abc store or the store next door as if I was lying to her. It wasn't until I *repeatedly* reassured her that I was coming for abc store would she go away. Maybe this is a common problem for the particular store, but for them to treat you like a criminal just because there are repeat offenders in the area is unacceptable. Go at your own risk. I will be going to other stores going forward."
"Not a friendly place. There are several parking spots in front of the store marked as reserved for ABC customers only, but few at the far end are not clearly marked. Someone pulled in to one of those spots and the lady from the store immediately confronted him and started using profanity."
