"I was on the hunt for a bathtub spout. Along with the big box stores, I came here to see what they offered. THE STORE: Located in the Kahului Industrial Park, they've been here ever since I can remember. Parking is limited and the inside are quarters tight, filled to the brim with hardware and household inventory. Sadly the small attached shop that used to be called Maureen's Gifts & Christmas closed up years ago. They, along with the now defunct Liberty House, used to sell Department 56 holiday ceramic pieces which I'm a collector of. EXPERIENCE: Unfortunately, their bath hardware accessory selection was less than the big boys, as expected. But, at least I can say I tried to support local! On the positive, what they don't offer in retail is made up for by their service. I was wandering down the aisle and a friendly woman asked if I needed any assistance, personally escorting me to the area. Try getting that at the "orange" or "blue" big box stores! While they had a few offerings, I needed just the spout, not the entire combination of shower head and handles, so nothing was purchased. TIP: Key cutting service is available here. OVERALL: Unparalleled service, average inventory."
"Limited selection & prices are comparable to Home Depot, so as much as I can't stand the depot, it's still a better option. Kihei Ace is fantastic however! Much better selection there."
"I don’t go to the hardware side too often, but whenever I have, someone will always ask if I need help. Cashiers do an adequate job. It’s a hardware store so most customers want to just get in and get out. I love the kitchen + store in the back. They have some really beautiful holiday decor items and high end kitchen ware. The sales ladies in this part of the store are all lovely and helpful."
"My new favorite Ace Hardware although I do like the one in Kihei too. Love their kitchen store and the holiday items you can find there for gifts and more. It's worth a long stroll through the store to look at all the things and discover something you really need. I can spend hours here. Found some wonderful Christmas ornaments and will be back for more. Great place to find gifts for love ones or buy a gift card. My friend and I wondered around for over an hour and enjoyed every minute. Pop by the store for yourself, you won't be disappointed. Customer service is kind and welcoming. Enjoy!"
