"Updated review and photos:The food was tasty, even though it's a little expensive (what you'd expect from this caliber of restaurant in Kailua). I appreciate the Latin flavors that are hard to find in Hawaii. By it's name, it sounds like a Cuban place, but they have influences from all over Latin America. The ceviche is excellent, and don't be put off by the shrimp ceviche's "sweet and sour" sauce--it's perfectly done. For drinks, I recommend the mojito, caipirinha, or pisco sour. All are amazingly made!"
"Amazing arepas and salads with great flavor and zest. I was honestly blown away! They were able to accommodate for vegan and gluten free diners at our table. Also devoured the mojitos… so refreshing:) I will be back every time I’m in town!"
"Hello. We arrived 2 mins after open since it was happy hour. The drinks were nice about a 4 dollar discount for happy hour. No happy hour food and only happy hour on one drink and that’s the mojitos. Food was shockingly pricey. The server was not attentive to us at all with only us in the restaurant. I never got a refill on my water after being there for 45 mins. The bill was also wrong and didn’t give us happy hour price."
"We’ve been here twice since they opened and it has been delicious each time. The food is on point, creative, flavorful and a new addition to Oahu. I love the fact that there are plenty small plate options as I like to mix and match dishes with my friends and family when going out. This way you can try a little of everything! The restaurant had a lovely, fun, spicy vibe and exudes happiness and positivity. The owners a friendly and are open to feedback. This will definitely be one of our regular places to go!"
