"Love this place! Newly discovered, passed by so many times and never noticed, it is hiding between two buildings. Food is amazing, just perfect amount of salt and spices to hit your taste buds. Desserts are great too, sampler plate was a winner. Nice place overall, great service, presentation, ambience. One note! Please fix the bread, it is too light and soft."

"Baci Bistro wasn’t my first option for dinner on a Sunday night, but I was pleasantly surprised by the food and robust menu. Unfortunately, slow and inconsistent service left the overall dining experience less than ideal. Me and my party made a reservation for the evening and were quickly seated at our reservation time. The server was slow to get to our table and while there was olive oil and balsamic vinegar on the table we did not see bread until over halfway through the meal. I ordered the pear salad for an appetizer and was impressed by the flavor and presentation. The rigatoni with sausage also had excellent taste, but was on the smaller side for a main dish. We finished the meal with tiramisu, and Baci Bistro’s tiramisu is certainly up there with the best I’ve had. Throughout the meal our server was either slow or inattentive, while only working 4 tables in the inside portion of the restaurant. Maybe it was an off-night for them, but I expected more given the reviews. Overall Baci Bistro is a decent place to visit if you’re looking for a large selection of Italian dishes in Kailua. If their service was as good as their tiramisu they’d easily be a 4-5 star restaurant in this reviewer’s humble opinion."
"We were not planning to stop here for dinner during our returning trip from north shore. Pleasantly surprised by the authentic Italian dishes. I got the risotto and it was delicious. The portions was just right, but my friend’s spaghetti with clams was a big portion that came with a lot more clams than she had expected. It’s a pretty busy restaurant so I do recommend making reservations!"
