"Food was great. Pulled pork was on point and the papaya salad was great. Had a milkshake and it was also good! Portions weren't huge, but the right amount for my girlfriend and me."

"Not sure why this place has such high ratings. I guess it’s a tourist trap restaurant and we fell for it. The food was dry and lacked flavor. There are so many better things to eat on the island so do yourself a favor and just avoid."

"The pork bomber was the perfect burrito-esque tasty lunch to bring to the beach. Takes a bit of time as its a popular spot. Counter service order first. Dedicated following as you get 25% of for life if you get a pig surfing tattoo!"

"Amazing location if you want to eat like a local! If you're staying by the hotels in wakiki , I recommend taking a trip out to Kailua and visit this spot for a quick coffee and burrito. Great food for on the road. I had the Queen's burrito which was their chorizo and eggs , it was amazing! Full of flavor and a little spicy in the best way possible. I'm usually a hungry person and I was starving before having the burrito and felt perfectly satisfied. My friend had the popukea w/ avocado, it was stuffed with egg and very simple but tasty! The atmosphere is very chill and has the surfer vibe with great music playing on the background. The music is low enough to enjoy and still have a conversation! I had the coffee which was hazelnut roast and the fresh guava juice. *This was the absolute best unexpected thing about kono! I'd you're here I highly recommend trying their guava juice it was one of the best I've had!"

"If you love pulled pork meals, this is a great spot. Fresh salad with pulled port recommended. Fresh lime/mint drinks and more. Limited eating space inside, some benches on the street outside. Street parking is a bit of a challenge. Consider parking close by and walking over. It's worth here. We ate here multiple times on our recent visit."
