Reviews
"We had a great time, it was an amazing experience! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend it!"
"Since this winter has been so crazy we had to reschedule twice. We finally had nice weather and got to go last weekend (3/26). It was such a blast!! We all had so much fun. The views were breathtaking. The gal in the office was so nice and helpful with helping us choose a good fitting helmet for my 5 y/o nephew. The instructor was amazing as well and so was one of the other guys (forgot their names). Well worth it! This was an experience we will never forget and we will be back next year :)"
"Well, I wrote a big review and then Google Reviews had an error and didn't post it, so here's a shortened version! Two of the guides, Steve and Jeremy, were fantastic! Both loved talking about the machines and the ride/area, and both were willing to help anybody that had questions or issues. The machines were great. Two of the three were almost brand new, and were super comfortable. All three had heated bars and throttle, which were essential! The third sled was a bit older (had ~10k hours on it), and we did have Steve check it out due to some belt noise we heard, but he said it should be good, just be a bit gentle on the throttle on takeoff, and we should be good. Had no issues aside from that. I recommend bringing some kind of face covering, as the rental helmets are all open face. You might be able to rent them, but we didn't think to check. The wind chill can be brutal when moving quick! The views are spectacular! We did the 4 hour ride, which is totally recommended, especially as we were pretty much the only group that did that, which meant we were pretty much alone for the second half of the ride (aside from guides checking in and other public traffic on the road). The turn around point at Highland Lakes is absolutely gorgeous, and well worth the extra cost/time to get there. We could have paced ourselves a bit better though, as we left the briefing around 9:25AM, and got to Highland Lakes at 11am, and ended up getting back about half an hour before our turn in time at 1PM, so we could have stopped and checked out more of the views more often. Definitely recommend checking it out, and we'd love to do it again. We've got family in the area, so can't wait to go back! I will note that since we did the earliest ride, there was almost nobody in the parking area (both at the lodge/rental office, and the staging area). Once we got back from the ride, the place was PACKED, so later rides might have more of a hassle finding parking. Also, the vault toilets at the 2 hour turn around point was pretty nasty. One side was sealed shut with snow, and the other was dirty and missing an actual toilet seat. It was usable if absolutely necessary, but I'm glad my group was able to hold their bladder! Pretty sure these are probably state/federally maintained, so not a ding on the rental company, but just a heads up (the actual bathrooms at the rental office themselves were clean and well maintained, and recommend using them before you ride, haha)."
"The family has so much fun. We did the two hour ride and the scenery is beautiful. We snowmobiled on Hwy 4 passing by and over several lakes and cliff view. We went on a Friday. I imagine that the weekend must be insane especially with parking. Highly recommend. We will go back and do the longer tour."
"So much fun. Took my whole family. Go to rental center take everyone that will be going at Bear Resort to get gear helmet, goggles, face mask etc. Drive 5 min to staging area. Quick safety meeting and your off. We went 4 hrs. Make a reservation."
