"Leaving 1 star because 0 isn’t an option. I was commuting home from work and behind a Gunnar electric company van when something flew off the top of the van and struck my vehicle causing damage. The driver did not stop as I’m assuming he did not realize anything came off. I made a police report and contacted Gunnar electric to see how they wanted to go about it. I waited for a response for over two weeks after many attempts to contact them and finally got through to the owner himself Terry who was very unprofessional saying that it is impossible for this situation to happen as electricians do not make mistakes. (Being in the construction business myself I know in fact mistakes such as this happen all the time) I would advise against this company as it seems they are unwilling to admit mistakes and may do so on their Jobsites as well. (Edited since the reply) You want me to invest in a dash cam to keep your electricians in line to prove they do make mistakes? I was initially also told by Terry the ONLY thing on top of the vam was ladders, when I asked if it could of been a peice of conduit I was told there actually is a conduit rack as well on top but it absolutely couldn’t be that. Also no helpful info in the police report as your mistake free electrician left without stopping. Like I said he probably didn’t notice something fly off the rusty cluttered van I also contacted a full week before a holiday, I was not contacted back until two weeks later I called after the day had past that I was supposed to hear back from Gunnar electric."

"Gunnar Electric is awesome I can and will confidently recommend them to anyone I know who needs electrical work done. Gunnar Electric is VERY easy to do business with. Their website is easy to use and smartphone-friendly. They offered several ways to contact them. Details: Gunnar Electric responded promptly to my request to fix a broken GFCI outlet that, once I saw the snarly wiring from a prior DIYer, clearly needed a pro to verify before making this otherwise-simple repair. Gunnar’s scheduler said that an electrician would be at my house between 10 and 2, and would call in advance. I got a call about 10-15 minutes before 10, at time BRIAN (5 stars) arrived promptly, greeted me by name and shared his name with a nice handshake. I showed him the mess. He’d already seen the pictures I’d emailed in advance showing the possible problem. He got his tools, then quickly and quietly replaced the outlet. He cleaned up any dust and debris, and was done in under 20 minutes. $165 well spent: I can trust that my house won’t burn down (at least, not due to THAT electrical DIY nightmare)."

"Be warned. This company will gouge you if you let them. I signed up online with my electric utility company to have an electric vehicle charger installed at my home. The EV charger and installation were to be free when you sign up for their EV program and pay a monthly fee. Gunnar Electric notified me via email that they would be the company doing the installation for the utility company. Gunnar Electric does not send anyone out to inspect the install area. Instead they require photos of the install area, electric panel, etc be sent to them. About 10 days later, I received a work proposal for $6100 for various upgrades they claimed were necessary to have the EV charger installed. I contacted one of the authorized electrical contractors on Tesla's website. They came out, inspected the work area, provided a quote of $874 and the install was completed 8 days later. 9/12/23 Follow Up: Elizabeth in the office initially contacted me regarding sending in photos. My last correspondence was a voicemail on 8/16/23. I received the $6075 DocuSign work proposal from Mark Schmidt on 8/17/23 at 2:04pm. I responded with follow up questions as to why the estimate was so high. Never received any response. Milow Electric completed the job for $874 and their electrician was blown away with what your company claimed was necessary to install an EV charger."
