"Though I have not been seen here myself, I do medical transportation and drive many people here. All of my customers enjoy the help they receive at this facility. The little pharmacy on site has snacks, drinks and greeting cards. The restrooms and entire building are always clean"

"Lost complete trust in Truckee Tahoe Medical. I had video appointment two months ago ( due to the pandemic) where we discussed abdominal pain and prescription refills. This can clearly be seen in MyChart because the pickup location for my epipen was changed to my new pharmacy. During this appointment I asked if they could wait a month or so to call in my epipen refill because the old one had not yet expired, they agreed. Two days ago, I called to get that epipen prescription called into the pharmacy and they refused saying I hadn't been seen in over a year (not true) When I explained that I had an appointment two months ago (the video one) and that this had been discussed they completely ignored me, still claiming that I had't been seen in over a year, and that last appointment where we discussed meds and stomach pain wasn't relevant. At this point I had grown frustrated and lost my temper because the front desk staff was refusing to acknowledge the video appointment and the fact the meds were discussed during it. Day two . They call back saying they can see me for an appointment. I refuse, and ask them why should I come in to get a prescription for an allergy when the medication refill was already discussed last appointment. Again, they ignore this fact and insist I come in. At this point it really feels like they're just out for money. I call them back to make sure that they made a note that I had already spoken to somebody about this at the last appointment and that they said it was fine to call back later when I needed the refill. The guy I spoke to said they had, this was a lie. I look at MyChart and see that they never took note of the fact that I'm claiming that the meds were discussed last appointment . All they are writing down is that I'm calling angry about wanting meds, totally misrepresenting why I'm upset and what's actually taking place. That evening I got a call from the manager who is clearly not interested in why I'm frustrated and is more interested in accusing me of being rude to her staff. At this point she is being unprofessional. I calmly explain to her that my frustration the past two days was clearly warranted as her staff had refused write down and correctly document the reason for my call, which was to get a prescription refill for the epipen and to properly note that it WAS discussed at the last appointment. The manager never admitted to any wrong doing or offered an apology. She did however confirm that they planned on withholding lifesaving medication unless I paid for another appointment. I have never been to a doctors office that has refused to refill lifesaving meds when I have been seen by them with in a years time. Especially when prescriptions are brought up at the last visit. My advice is to go elsewhere unless you don't mind being misrepresented on paper and your well-being totally ignored. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Today I did manage to get my epipen refilled but not by them. I used an online site and had it called into a pharmacy in less than 20 minutes. Truckee Tahoe Medical Group is a joke."

"Now they are charging hospital rates with multiple billers for a simple visit to urgent care. Tried to double charge me, it took 9 months to correct, and they neglect to give insurance info or proper mail address to their sub contractors. The only way you know you owe the money is through collections. Poorly run business!"

"I have asthma and have used the same daily drug for over 20 years. The smoke rolled in this fire season and my script ran out. They refused to issue a refill for me for this non narcotic preventative medicine without me going in for a pointless appt mid pandemic. Had to wait over a week for this useless appt and then they canceled it the day before......."

"I have been going to TTMG for 25 years. But they have changed. And not for the better. I am rarely sick. But in the past when I truly was sick and let them know, they made sure I could get in to see someone. Now, it is " We can see you in 5 days or you can be a walk-in." Walk-ins means I sit in the lobby for hours waiting to be seen while I feel miserable. Even when I do have an appointment these days, I rarely get seen on time. I can live with doctors being late, to be honest. They help a lot of people. But putting off someone who is ill and needs assistance and does not want to go to Tahoe Forest Hospital and take up their time for something a GP can handle is just wrong. The lack of empathy, understanding or caring by the front office staff while they are telling you to just walk-in and sit there for hours while throwing up every half hour is just the final affront."
