About the Business
New Millennium Academy is a KG-8 charter school located at 5105 Brooklyn Boulevard in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. Founded in 2005 to serve the Hmong population in the Twin Cities, NMA currently educates approximately 800 scholars. The school offers a standards-based education with a Hmong secondary language curriculum, emphasizing the values of Respect, Help, Inspire, Never Give Up, and Overcome (The RHINO Way).
NMA is dedicated to developing global leaders who transform the world, while also fostering Hmong cultural pride and identity. The school's instructional learning schedule runs from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Due to inclement weather conditions, NMA will be dismissing scholars early at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. All after-school programs are cancelled for the evening. Additionally, the school will be closed on Monday, March 25, 2024 for the safety of students and staff.

"This school is definitely one of the best school that I had been to. The staffs and teachers are all very generous and kind. The teachers here will always listen and help their students when needed. The food they serve is good but not the best. Student's of New Mullennium here are also very kind and helpful, especially when you are struggling on something and need comfort. There are also sports team mainly Football and Volleyball. Not only that this school also supports all ethnic groups. In this school you will always feel safe, and respected."

"Horrible School Overall if your child is a child of a different race I recommend not sending them here they are very racist ! Also there is not kind of support system for the kids because the dean just goes with whatever the teacher says instead of talking to the student"
