"The food here is amazing!!! I ordered the chilaquiles with no eggs and added chorizo. Hubby ordered the Meat Lovers, it was gone before I could take a picture. Food is all fresh and prepped right in front of you. Arrive early to get a spot."

"I visited to have lunch with my wife on a Saturday, and it was far better than I could have expected. Would absolutely visit again, and recommend. Second visit for lunch with friends, and to my surprise, nothing about it resembled the first visit months ago. Our portions were much smaller, no water refills, and they overcharged us on the bill. :( Third visit with friends, and everything was good. The tacos are no longer the size they originally offered, but still quite tasty. They did not overcharge our bill this time, so that's something."

"I have been wanting to try Carlillos Cocina for awhile. Today I finally found it. The landmark to look for is the sign that reads "Landrum Cafe", picture attached. Entered the building and found neat, clean counter seating. Most of the seats face the prep area. Fascinating to watch the cooks prepare each dish. The cooks were friendly enough to explain what they were preparing. Server was pleasant and attentive. The food was darn good. I ordered a breakfast burrito and the wife had cheese enchiladas. The surprise here was that we could have potatoes in lieu of the standard rice and beans. My burrito was flavorful but not very spicy, which I like. I can spice it up with hot sauce or the jalapenos provided. The wife's was the same, however she chooses not to use anything spicy. Again the surprise was that the potatoes were well made and tasty as they put some enchilada sauce and cheese on top. Overall a very pleasant experience. I will be returning and bringing friends. 9/1/22 Update: Nothing has changed. Still great food and service. Also still a bit of a dive, building wise. I have posted new pictures of the current menu. 2/3/23 Update: Outstanding that this place hasn't changed. They know what works and it ain't broke !! If you have a chance, you have to visit. 5/23/23 Update Same fantastic food, same great service and still kind of a dive. Wouldn't change it for anything. 1/19/24 Update Ordered the same old thing, a breakfast burrito and still the best wet breakfast burrito in town."

"Visiting from out of town and the food was amazing. Authentic Mexican food and the atmosphere is so enjoyable. Everything we got was delicious and the service was quick and very friendly. Will be coming back!"

"Food is delicious, fresh, and cooked in front of you. The staff are kind, and effortlessly accommodated a difficult allergy to tomatoes. Serving portions are generous. Cute small diner vibe. Ordered 2 breakfast burritos: asada and chorizo, a chili Verde with carnitas, and fish tacos. Horchata was super refreshing with a perfect amount of cinnamon. A++++ wouldn't change a thing"
