Sparks Water Bar

"Made a reservation for two the day before for 6:30pm. We were greeted by staff and waited about 5-10 minutes before we were seated. They were quite busy and taken to the second floor. Our server got our drinks and gave us time to look through the menu. Most places given bread, but here they give pretzel sticks with a thing of butter. The pretzels were kind of salty and I would have preferred bread. We ordered the following: Beer battered coconut prawns: this appetizer came with 4 pieces of shrimp laying on a sauce that reminded me of sweet chili sauce. There was also 2 slices of grilled pineapple. 5/5 Teriyaki Salmon Salad: came in a big bowl with slices of bell peppers, cucumbers, arugula, red onions, tangerines, and wonton chips with 2 pieces of salmon on top. I wish there was less arugula and more of the other things. But it was good! 5/5 Filet and Scampi: it does not come with pasta. It has 3 pieces of shrimp, asparagus and a filet. Both were cooked nicely. 5/5 We came a day before Valentine's Day and the interior had a lot of Valentine's Day decor. The lighting is too dark in my option. There are TVs throughout. If you are seated on the first floor, it is an open kitchen. There is a bar on both floors. There is also outdoor seating with a great view of the Sparks Marina, but it was quite cold outside currently. I have been here two other times and has sat outside where they have an outdoor bar. Our server was exceptionally because she was always checking on us and our food came out in a timely mannerly. Definitely would recommend the Sparks Marina!"

"Taylor was the best the food was amazing. I just wanna say if I get you the reviews please get me a special table next Valentine's Day. Because I have snuck away here for the last 2 years and had the best Valentine's Day. Same Server. Same great service this is a real gem of the Truckee meadows. Born and raised and have not once had a bad meal."

"We were sat right away! We chose to sit outside and had a beautiful view of the marina! Our server was absolutely amazing! She made sure we had everything we needed she kept checking in with us! She even double-checked to make sure I would like my meal because of stuff it had in it! The water tasted so yummy! Our food came out hot! It was so delicious! I highly recommend this place to eat but definitely make a reservation!"
