"We'd like to update our review of the verdi grill house. The first time it was tremendous. Now just a couple of months later we visited the restaurant again this month. To be fair, they stated they had a lot of turnover in cooks in the kitchen, but also the true essence of a good restaurant is consistency. The head chef is there to establish his cooking method and recipes. First my wife ordered her favorite which is the chicken Alfredo. It just didn't seem right to her. She again had to ask the server for more sundried tomatoes. There was hardly any in the serving., And the seasoning wasn't the same. I ordered the garlic shrimp scampi dish. This was very disappointing. First the menu says it is served with 6 jumbo shrimp. I was given only 4 shrimp, and they did not seem jumbo to me. Of course, I complained to our server and she brought me 2 more shrimp. Secondly it just did not taste garlicky! It was very bland. I had to keep adding salt to enhance the flavor. If the cooks keep quitting or there is a high turnover, I doubt if we will return, as the food quality will not be the same. Count your shrimp to make sure you get what you pay for. Visited again on January 2nd, 2024. Once for breakfast/lunch another for dinner. We wanted to give them a fair review. Again my wife ordered the chicken Alfredo fettuccine with sundried tomatoes. I ordered the Hawaiian short ribs. The chicken Alfredo fettuccine was delivered to our table without the sundried tomatoes cooked into the dish. My wife had to ask for a bowl of sundried. Not the same as if it was cooked with the noodles and sauce. The Alfredo sauce was thin, not creamy or cheesy. I ordered the Hawaiian short ribs. Overcooked which lessened the taste of the Hawaiian glaze. For breakfast/lunch my wife ordered oatmeal and toast. I don't think you have much chance to ruin those items when cooking. I ordered the prime rib French dip. I enjoyed that food item. Lots of mushrooms and very tender meat. Very tasty. Very disappointed for the most part. We will probably opt for Mel's diner when we return."

"This place just opened and it is awesome! Fridays/Saturdays they have a Prime Rib special that is only $15.99 from 4PM on. Delicious and cheap? Yes, please! And staff is so cool and friendly. I will comeback all the time"

"Best prime rib, 15.99 Friday and Saturdays. Fried chicken $10 on Thursdays. Don't sit too close to front of restaurant, smoke from casino blows in. Don't know why they can't have smokeless casino."

"Food was good... Prime Rib sandwiches, one order with fries and second order with coleslaw. Service was good, however we ordered one sandwich without onions... came with onions! When we told KJ there was no acknowledgement. Ordered a Raspberry tea in a to-go cup if available, it came at the end of meal and with apology for forgetting. No charge for that. Beautiful establishment and atmosphere. Overall it was a good experience!!"

"We ordered the chicken tenders with fries, garlic fries, quesadilla with chicken, pastrami sandwich and their entree Cobb salad with a chicken protein upgrade. Food was a bust for sure. Chicken tenders were stale tasting like they had been refried or left on warm. That or the oil hasn't been changed. Fries were decent. Garlic fries were missing Bleu cheese crumbles and barely had any garlic in the sauce. Felt more like an aioli drizzle. Service was good as they fixed this immediately and got our missing cheese. Quesadilla was excellent according to my dad and came with salsa, sour cream and guacamole. The pastrami sandwich was actually out of stock and was substituted for roast beef. The roast beef lacked flavor and even had a bone in it! Yikes! I know this establishment is newer but they need to get their act together. The Cobb salad was inedible with brown lettuce leaves and additional chicken that tasted grilled but off. Nearly rancid like towards the end of shelf life. Also note in updated menu pictures that there are time restrictions on breakfast, lunch and dinner. If their dinner and breakfast are as atrocious as their lunch menu, I don't recommend eating here at all. The deli at Boomtown has significantly fresher ingredients even with its limited menu of pizza and sandwiches. Another important note: your comps provided by the hotel and main casino may not work here and you'll be stiffed with full price :("
