"They sell you on all the benefits of a membership, then once you sign you're stuck for 10 years. Make sure to read the fine print because if you choose to cancel you need to be on top of the date in their contract or they automatically renew and you're stuck again paying fees for something you won't recoup the money paid in on it. But the one thing that is really wrong is how if you don't have the funds for a down payment they tell you take out this credit card 0% (for 6 months) and if it's not paid in full by then, the credit card company pulls those charges back onto the card leaving you with a higher interest rate I'm sure. When you contact the credit card company it's like pulling teeth for any help. What I'm trying to say is they get their down payment through your credit card charge leaving you with that and the monthly payments for them. By the way unless you live in the area or travel where they are, the perks on that credit card are pointless. Finally I want to say is they will certainly take advantage even if it's unethical in winning your business with false words."

"Ocean Canyon Styx River has ruined our experience that we are unfortunately being told we are unable to cancel. The staff was incredibly rude for a simple mistake that was made with equally as bad customer service. I am an assistant manager at a campground in AL and definitely understand the importance of good customer service and good attitudes when handling our guests. It’s very unfortunate we’ve wasted so much money on this because we will not be returning. It is not all inclusive. Please do yourself a favor and save your time and money it’s a scam and there are way too many better places to camp out there."

"The customer service over the phone is lacking. There was no-one available and had to leave messages 2 days in a row. when I did get a call back the message left on my phone was less than 7 seconds so I couldn't understand what they were saying or the number to call them back at. Called the main number and was hung up on. recalled and finally got a person that would speak to me. She didn't sound like she wanted to, but at least she took down my reservation. Once at the park the people there are always great."

"I'm an employee at (Ocean Canyon Properties)Mountain Lakes Resort located on the banks of the beautiful Lake Guntersville, and Tennessee River. As an employee, it feels more like I'm on a daily vacation at place that's surrounded with beauty and something fun for all ages daily."

"Being a part of Ocean Canyon has been a great experience! I love coming to Tres Rios RV Resort, Ocean Canyon's North Texas location (One of their premiere facilities in my opinion.) The mature oak trees along the river create a beautiful setting! Many of the spots are shaded and my dog loves that! I especially appreciate the staff at Ocean Canyon Parks; They always go above and beyond to make sure our needs are met. They have free donuts every Friday, daily bike rides. My kids LOVE when we go to an Ocean Canyon park! Lots of friends and fun activities! I would recommend a stay at this park to anyone! This strand of RV resorts really puts the emphasis on family and friends with a lot of different activities. Adults and kid's alike will enjoy the beautiful scenery, adult and kid crafts, card games, dominoes, swimming, hikes, bird watching, fishing, potlucks, Church service! I especially enjoy the "date nights" they put on! Every Thursday, us park "regulars" get together for a date night at a local restaurant! I have made many new friends from my stays with Ocean Canyon and can't wait to make more!"
